She Told Me... I Was Lucky... 🍀😉 Note : A F F is deleting words in the text. Please be patient. It was bound to happen. In a city, of over four and a half million people, odds were good. It was only a matter of time, before I accidentally, ran into a fan, of MY, 'A F F' blog. Last week, I was headed downtown, to meet my oldest daughter for dinner. Her choice and her treat. I brought the wine - a very nice Brouilly... her favorite. There's no quicker way, to move around this town, than the bus and subway. If you ever visit, leave your car at home. Traffic is a mess. I had 20 subway stops to navigate and the train was jammed, with a mélange of rush hour commuters. I was lucky, when I spied an empty seat. It was at the end of a bench, lined with a bunch of women. I nestled down next to one of them. She was younger than me, smartly dressed, wearing a white, ruffled blouse and a black, leather skirt. Her head was buried, in a laptop. The subway system here, has free WiFi. I casually, glanced over to her (on my right), as one might innocently do... while riding the subway. Alright... so I'm nosy. To my surprise, she was on that sex site... 'A F F'. Then I took a closer look. She was on, MY blog. Well... that, was interesting... to say the least! I kept trying, not to stare. But I was curious to see, what blog post she was reading. Unfortunately, I wasn't very subtle. She noticed me, moved her laptop to her chest and glared at me. "Oh. I'm sorry... I... I didn't mean to be rude. I just noticed, that you were... on that web site. I happen... to KNOW, that blogger," I smiled. "Reeeelly? Lucky... fucking... you!" she declared, in a loud, sarcastic voice. Then quickly, she tilted her laotop, completely, so that the back of it, faced me. It ... was a 'Dell'. That... pretty much, shut me up. I never had a chance to continue, with any polite banter. The other riders in the car, stared at me. I grinned back at them... sheepishly. The rest of my trip, was kinda awkward. I focused my eyes on the dirty grey floor. I turned to the left, once... where inches from my nose... was a man's groin. He wore Lévis, button down jeans. I couldn't help but notice them. It's the same brand, I wear. I preferred... to look at the floor. When it was her stop, she squeezed by, and glared at me once more. Her boyfriend, who was standing next to her (and whom I hadn't noticed), grabbed her hand and gave me a dirty look, as well. "Ahhh.... a boyfriend. No wonder, she didn't want to talk," or so I preferred, to believe. My stop came. I got up. That guy, with the Lévis in my face, took my seat and smiled at me. I walked out through the sliding doors, trudged along the subway platform, then rode up the escalators and finally... strode into the street. I felt, somewhat relieved. I hoped, my daughter... had picked a good place to eat. She always did... and I was starving. ........................................ So... Do you ever look over the shoulder, of random people, in random places; or is that just rude? Bonus Question: I was carrying a bottle of Brouilly, What type, wine do you prefer ? . Well... usually I won't look over the shoulder of people. It is rude. But if you're jammed up in subways and buses, in big cities... well .. You don't always have a choice. And many times the people themselves, couldn't care less, if you're looking or not. Unless of course... they're texting or on sex sites. Then... they start to care. Ok... Well.... I love a Beaujolais and this Brouilly... but give me a red... over a white! But... if I had to choose... Rarely drink but when I have some wine there are a couple I like... I like the Late Autumn Reisling from Inniskillin… I will often buy a Merlot to cook with then have a glass so the bottle doesnt go to waste.. I'm a peek, can't help it, but I usually dont let people know I am snooping...lol

I travel public transit and have seen people turning around in their seats or straining their necks to see what someone else had open or were viewing. When I worked in IT, we were constantly cautioned about accessing our work information in public places so I carried that through with my personal stuff too. However, I have been on this site using my smartphone. I laughed one day, when I realized the screen was reflected in the window I was sitting next too. I quickly glanced around to see if anyone noticed whose pics I was looking at. I will enjoy whatever wine my partner serves. However, if I was ordering, it would be a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, especially Stoneleigh.

lol... same thing happens to me. I get people talking on their blue tooth phone and I think they're talking to me... 📱😂 Oh well... I don't really try to look at what they're doing... but heck... if you're jammed side by side in the subway..... well. Here's where I show my age ...... I don't look at others electronics but if I see someone with printed material - a book, magazine, etc. THEN I'm nosy. No wine for me. Do you ever make your vodka slushies with something other than pineapple? Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Do you ever make your vodka slushies with something other than pineapple? Last summer I was adding a fruit juice, berry mix. Then.... I read somewhere that pineapple juice... makes a man's sperm taste better... So... I'm doing a scientific experiment to see if that's true. Now the only thing that I need, is a volunteer for that taste test. 😶 uhhhh..... yeah.... ? 🙄 😁 What other fruits could I mix up with my slushies? I'm willing to try anything. I do, love pineapple juice though. Come to think about it... I'm glad that I didn't say anything more. After all... that boyfriend was standing right there. Omg... Can you imagine? I don't see many people from Montreal reading my blog. So maybe she was from out of town? And A F F only shows me a maximum of 22 people who visit. I'm sure they must be missing some. Not just pineapple juice but other citrus helps sweeten the spunk. I would volunteer for the taste test but I wouldn't know if there was an improvement. I can tell ...via THAT route ... if someone smokes or drinks a lot of coffee. I've had cider slushies... I wonder if they can be made with hard cider? That would be yummy! You've got sensitive taste buds... hmmm.... Wow! 😋👍 Well... at this point... I guess, there's FedEx 😶 I'll have to explore that hard cider option. Anything hard, sounds like a plan! Wow.... That's quite an eclectic bunch of tastes you have... lol Good bidka... really good vodka, has almost no odour at all! The cheap stuff smells like lighter fluid. 😱 But you know that? There are no rules for what to put in a slushie. I chose vodka, because it has no taste and almost no odour (the good stuff I mean). Yeah.. I love those fruit options. They're all good!
