That Other Woman... Across The Room... 🍸

Note : A F F is deleting words in the t.ext. Please be patient.

She stood there... commanding her space; delicately holding a glass of white wine, in her hand. She brushed a stray hair, from her brow and looked, at that other woman, across the room. She thought to herself...

... I know, what she sees in me. It's my dress and my hair. And the diamond earnings... I'm not shy to wear. It's my shoes... which spike the floor. Is she staring in disbelief? It's so obvious, even as she tries to hide, her interest in me.

A moment before, that other woman had walked by... and paused... ever so slightly. She smelled your cologne on me. Just a faint whisper of its scent. I know. She might once, have had it smeared , on her neck and her cheek... or that humid space, between her thighs; and wherever else... you'd touched her

Yes... I thought about that. Then casually, she stepped closer, as if to chat with a friend. But it was... to measure, and challenge me. I glanced at her.... and smiled. My eyes moved up... then down. I made sure , she noticed. I never had to tell her, to fuck off .

You did that for me, dear. Unknowingly... of course. You walked by, stopped and kissed me. I held you. You kissed me again... the way you do. She stood there... mouth gaping, then... she walked away.

And there, she stands; alone... across the room. A fucking tear, in her eye. I could care...

... less.

.............................................
So...
Are you a jealous, possessive, type of person?
How many of you are tired, of answering my usual question; "Whatcha y'all gonna have for dinner?"

I'm not really jealous or possessive. If I'm with someone, then I obviously trust them, right? But if another guy tries to act like I'm not there... I might step in and gingerly remind him (in a subtle way), that THIS lady, is with me. 😘

How can I be tired of the question? I'm asking it... lol
Dinner? I don't know yet. I have leftover lasagna... I think I'll go with that. And a salad. Yep... 😊

As other's do hate it when you sit or stand there and smile as to say yep he's all mine. I hope you have an awesome day..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Jealous? Possessive? I don't think so but it's been a really long time since I had a man that was "mine" and with him, I never even worried about reminding someone that he was taken...he did that himself.

Looks like I'm the only tired of you asking "What's for Dinner?"
Maybe, change it up once in a while and ask what we had for breakfast. (pancakes)

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Each person is different... right?
Otherwise... we'd all have had pancakes this morning. 👌
I love pancakes... I change it up depending on what time of day I post.
But I'll give you a free pass. You can comment on any meal you've had... 😊
Or.... if you have another topic, ya wanna cover? 🤔

You? Confident? 😱😘😊👍
Who doesn't like meatloaf and garlic bread? Hmmm.. thanks for the idea.
That's the real reason I ask that question. I need ideas...
Yep... I'd say that you're pretty confident. 😊 Has your guy, ever lost it.... a bit? With another guy? 😱

Jealous or possessive no. I would hate for someone to be like that with me. I find its more a reflection on my partner on how he handles 'the other woman' flirting with him etc then it is on her.

Brown rice, lean pork and roasted beets. Can't get enough of roasted beets lately for some reason.

Jealous or possessive? No.... I might have been when I was younger. However, now as a confident, mature woman, I don't even think about it. If I am in a committed relationship, we both know who he is going home with at the end of the night.
Dinner tonight: grilled chicken and fried rice loaded with veggies

True... you want your partner to act classy, right?
Although I've in the middle of some trilogies...
What's with you women. You're wsy nastier than the men.. lol 😱
Roasted beets? Wow. I love beets but I usually eat the pickled variety. How do you skin them? That's the toughest part... Using gloves? Par Boiling?
What's your recipe? I've never done roasted. mostly because it's so difficult to get that skin off.

Oh wait....
I goggled it. You roast it with the skin on, right?
Then it peels off... yes?

You won't fight for a man?
Would you push another woman away.. to get to keep your man?
Tough Q's. But I understand. 😊
That's a great dinner choice.
Kale.... that's like spinach, right? 👍

I have never been mean or nasty. I dont do cat fights. He wants her, have at her, obviously he was not the man I thought he was which is on me. I am obviously hurt but I dont think fighting for someone in that type of situation will get you peace of mind about the relationship.

You can roast the beets in foil and peel the skin after cooked. However for the most part I cheat and buy the frozen pre-sliced beets. Toss in a bit of grape seed oil, salt and pepper roast and voila. I buy frozen veggies all winter. Generally cheaper. I have never been able to outsmart the chipmunks and squirrels from eating them on me from the garden.

Like BJ, it's been quite a while since I've been attached enough to someone to feel jealousy or competition. My one long term relationship, my BF was pretty hunky (6'4 and fit) and I did feel threatened by some of our female acquaintances in the biking/triathlon community.

I have this theory that whomever is more attractive in a relationship, has a slight power advantage. No more handsome guys for me! LOL.

These days I am more and more curious/interested in being in a poly mode where I am able to be involved with more than one person...if I explore that, I'll need to try to get over any jealousy tendencies.

"... whomever is more attractive in a relationship, has a slight power advantage. No more handsome guys for me! LOL." really... Hmmm.. Interesting pov 🤔 I always thought it was 50-50. But looking back, perhaps I was naive. 😶
Yeah... that 6'4" guy... I can imagine some ladies being drawn to him. 😁
Well... Best of luck in your search. The voyage should be fun, right? 👍

I'm not the jealous type, I dated a few women who were. if she wants someone else, I just move on, I'm not going to be # 2!
