Sex With Your Boss... Not Always A Good Idea... 😊 I had a meeting this morning, at work... The office was sparse. Two brown leather arm chairs faced a large teak wood desk. A phone and a small lamp, framed the sides of the polished surface. Horizontal shades, hid a broad window, casting an ivory glow behind the shadow figure, who sat in the tall chair. She rocked back... and forth. Her hands were clenched ; her knuckles white.  Without blinking - expressionless - I stood up from my chair, put my hands on Linda's desk and leaned forward. I replied to her, in a raspy whisper. "Unlike you Linda. I have nothing to lose. My family? They'll be fine. I'll be fine. You .... on the other hand....will have to do something other, than fire and sue me. Because I can assure you, you're life... will be the last thing I would ever care less ... about messing with. You don't know.... who you're fucking with. Does your husband know about us? I'll bet he'd be curious, to see the videos and texts - I have ready for him. You're a fucking zombie to me. You... keep up your end of the bargain and we'll be fine. Do your job. Understand ?" Silence echoed... off bare walls, as I turned my back. The heels of my shoes, clicking off the marble floors... were the only sounds, I heard. I didn't have to see, to know panick and fear, had gripped Linda's throat and turned her perfect complexion... a sickly, pale green. I was suddenly nudged, in the elbow... "Paul... Paul? Come on buddy. You daydreaming or something? Let's go to lunch. How was your meeting this morning with Linda? Heard you guys nailed that big contract?" "We did," I replied to Eduardo as I stood up from my chair. "We certainly did." I gotta stop binge watching, police detective, porn mysteries. I think they're MESSING ... with my head. ..................................... Only once, when I was pretty young. Went out for a drink with a coworker, we got pretty trashed and ended up hooking up. But, turns out that was all he was interested in, a one time hookup. It grated on me to have to see him around the office. Luckily he was just doing an internship and wasn't around for long. Lesson learned!

I have been there and done that and it's a real bitch when you get busted like we did. But it's all good because it was so worth it as we were so good together. Too bad it was just a summer job. My ex was my boss for awhile, in several different jobs...our working relationship was fine, until the last few years before we separated when he would not keep the personal stuff out of the office. One of the most embarrassing was between my married Manager and a very single co-worker who used to arrive together in the morning. One lunch hour, I was sitting at my cubicle which was in front of his, and I heard her voice. Unsure of just what might occur, I started loudly clearly my throat and banging desk drawers!

No. I never got involved with anyone at work. I did however, see, how most 'relationships' that evolved ended badly. One of the most embarrassing was between my married Manager and a very single co-worker who used to arrive together in the morning. It was tough enough, walking past his cubicle with her somewhat draped over his chair lol. There was a couple caught on security video, having sex on a little grassy knoll next to the parking garage! Hmmm... But ya didn't. Well... its always tricky at work isn't it? Unless you work for a really huge company. I worked in a building that had over three thousand employees and people could get away with more stuff in THAT type of environment. I like your new profile pic...
