I haven't worn a raincoat since grade school. The hoodie does just fine when I'm working and when I'm not I'll grab the umbrella.

A rather curious question for a vox pop! I think it all depends on how hot or cold it is out in the rain.

I have to admit, I do like the classy look of a real trenchcoat. As a bonus, you can just wear that for halloween and have a blast! lol

I have 5 raincoats in my possesion, generally prefer an umbrella however. It depends on what I am going to do while out in the rain. I have a London Fog dress trench coat for fancy outings, rarely worn, but still fits. I have a slate gray with game pocket for times I expect to get really wet, as it is very waterproof. I have a bright yellow slicker for riding my motorcycle, never hurts to be SEEN while on the bike. I have an ex-ARMY poncho, that goes with me for camping, as it almost doubles as a tent. And I have a roll-up (crush into it's own pocket type) that is always in my car, for emergencies. Has been used once in many many years! I also have umbrellas in both cars, and one at home in the closet.
I actually thought this question was what I preferred women to wear, grin, so I stick with the see-thru with very little under it, nude is best !
