Yes No Who cares? 🤔 It's a lot of fun if you know how to manage this maze. I've been Gold and then not. It's fun, both ways. Ya learn how to trudge about. Works for me. It's not as bad as people gripe about. But with all due respect. Ain't no way, 18 to 36 year olds, would be attracted to this site. There is the real world? No? That's where I was at that age. the site is what the people make it but if you as you say "18-36 demographic that advertisers and networks want." then they would have to work out something with uber. it seems the 18-36 year olds seem to want it, and want it now delivered to them with not fuss removed when done ubersex anyone?  there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity

If they got better IT folks and got this back up and running without all the glitches that have gone on since May- maybe it would have a chance. However, no one is going to pay for a broken toy. Too many site issues for people to upgrade to gold. Lack of active members that fit their search criteria to make it worthwhile upgrading to gold. I remember when there were >200 people in the chat room at one time. Now there's 20 on a good day.

There used to be 100 people in the Alberta chat room at the same time. Now there might be none or a few. I agree the days are numbered. Something else has to come along first though. Somthing similar to what this site could have been now.

Advertisers?They're in our homes and cars and everywhere we go today. They(18-36) were once touted as the hook up generation. Who could have known It just wasn't going to be with those of their own generation or at least until they learned how to fill those shoes. I remember when people were cool to one another and entitlement was shared with the top .09% of both genders and when the chat rooms weren't bully training centers .When those who had no reason to hide never put anyone on the spot for having to ghost them.There are so many in step with your forlorn ,dejected and impoverished existence here that sometimes this incessant whining is really just kicking a gift horse in whatever orifice suits them. Using more than all the road!

@ BiggLala 1. As I said they would not listen to a standard member's unsolicited advice on changes I think they need to make. 2. They claim millions of members, it is a social site, and there should be lots of people and activity. People will not feel a need to join if the view it as a dead place. See you need to have bait to attract people and maybe some of them will pay. If there were lots of people getting action here they would tell their friends or mention it else where on actual social media etc thereby making the site more popular. It also leads into the next point I had about more $$ from advertisers. 3. Advertisers know their real numbers not the "cooked books millions" they advertise. If they actually had millions of people things like travel companies, or rental cars. As it is I think Depends should give it a shot as the membership skews towards seniors here. How about gambling and bingo parlors lol. Instead of listing who wouldn't there are still lots that might if they actually had the numbers and were a popular site. But what do I know I'm just a standard peon member. As I said they can sell demographics info to legit companies of they had actual numbers to boast about. Survey companies might try their hand etc it opens more options. 4. Well my fault in not stating it clearly in what I meant that it should work both ways. The recipient should be able to read and respond to the gold member that sent them a message. Maybe they can put a cap on it 10 back and forth messages. 5. They have to make some money after all they do get some from memberships, some for advertising, and their cut of cams. To make money you have to spend money. Get more investors or a loan if able based on their legit numbers etc. 6. I still get contacts but 99% are bots/scammers. There still exists a possibility that I can meet someone that meets my criteria. For myself FB gathers too much info is invasive.

Please, quit whining and being so narcissic! There are many other adult dating sites out there ( I get many ads for them.) If passion does not suit your needs or desires so what? You probably do not need passion to find a spouse or sex partner. People solved that challenge for thousands of centuries without the internet or websites. Queen Victoria needed only genuine, real people to find Prince Albert in Coburg in Saxony, far from London. I do not know what passion's business model is to make money. Advertising is probably part of it. There is tremendous competition for advertising dollars today. Whether passion will make it through remains to be seen. I doubt that passion thinks Gold memberships will make it another Facebook. Forget about sex contact sites. Much more serious is whether newspapers survive the drop in income from advertising dollars. Without them , this county will become a dictatorship. I think we are on the way..

It was a lot better years ago, I think videos should be free, they bring people in. I think Gold members should be able to contact anyone and the standard members should be able to reply to them, what good is being gold if the standard members can't reply back to them. I think this site is better than other similar sites, and it has the potential to improve. I think being able to use gift cards to buy gold status was a great idea, it allows people to remain Anonymous, I think they should do a better job of letting people know they can use gift cards to buy gold..
