Organized Chaos.

Organized Chaos. I've been sorta absent from the blogs over the last week. Logged in this afternoon to find some messages wondering if I was ok.  So here's a blanket, yes I'm fine just swamped with work and life. Christmas time is usually chaotic around my household, but it's usually more of a fun chaos. Work usually has slowed down drastically, and at times, I've taken two weeks off for the holidays. Not this year. We have so many houses to turn right now, that if I put full crews on, six days a week, we wouldn't be finished till the end of January. I tell the property managers this, and they just gave us 4 more on Friday. Now we're looking like the end of February. LOL We've had a run on water heaters and garbage disposals. I had to replace 3 water heaters and 5 garbage disposals this past week. Weird. Picked up my adopted daughter from the airport Thursday night, and it's been non stop in the personal side since. Left the house yesterday morning around 7, got home around 3, went grocery shopping. Home with pizza for the girls by 430, left again to go wrap presents for a charity at barnes and nobles. Took the girls along and gave them some money to go shopping at the mall. Home by 1030. Stayed up talking drinking wine and wrapping presents till 1. Then back up again this morning at 6 , and off to do a couple of quick jobs, home by 10...Left again at 1030 to take the girls to get their nails done and I went and got a haircut. Ran some errands with the girls and got home around 130. Laid down for a minute, and just woke up. LOL It's just go , go , go. It's gonna get worse from here, so if you don't see me around much, or I didn't post a HNW, it's all good. I'm alive, kicking, in a good mood. Just not a very relaxing Christmas this year. I hope all of you are having nice relaxing holidays, and hopefully I'll be back to posting a bit more regularly after Christmas. I'll still be around, just not sure how much time I'll have to post my diatribes on life, thoughts, and the crazy stuff I find wandering around this crazy world of mine. Peace, Merry Christmas. I'm thinking of trying to relax for the rest of the day and night. Eat some Christmas tamales. Tomorrow is a Christmas party at my moms for the grandkids, and we're gonna do a wake for my brother. So glad to hear all is well, and it's been very busy here on my end too with all the Salsa making and carrot making, this week it's all about the baking and my daughter is making my fudge I wanted to give out so busy busy busy. I do hope you get to enjoy a nice SLOW Christmas with your family.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I'm 5 posts "behind" on your blog, so I'm kind of relieved you haven't been around much, so I'd be even more "behind". As hectic as your life has been, I know you love spending time with your girls. May you create many new and lasting memories of this Christmas season. It's the time spent together that is MOST important, and all the other stuff is just "stuff". "All is calm. All is bright" You could enjoy that up here ..... because you'd be too cold to do all that chasing around!  Take a night to relax - put on some Christmas music and turn off all the lights except for the tree.It got up to 48 yesterday - I had to turn the heat off in my car. Just sharing. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Merry Christmas!  It sounds like the fun sort of busy...not quite crazy, but almost. We've got that kinda busy going, but throw in a couple of little people who aren't feeling so great...but, there are plenty of adults around to handle it. Glad to see a post from you. I was wondering what was up... Enjoy the time with your family. That is the most important thing this time of year. Don't take it for granted. It's great that you are busy as you will be making money but hopefully it is not too stressful. I won't mention the Cowboys if you don't mention the Patriots. Glad to see a post from you. I was wondering what was up... Enjoy the time with your family. That is the most important thing this time of year. Don't take it for granted. It's great that you are busy as you will be making money but hopefully it is not too stressful. I won't mention the Cowboys if you don't mention the Patriots.
