A face to remember... (I hate masks).

I have not been on here in a while due to not having much time. I tend to lose time once I get on here. This however, I feel is worth the time loss from work so maybe I can get my concentration back after writing.

I was out in the mid-west recently and ran across a young lady who was very petite, pleasant and friendly. She was working as a hostess for a restaurant that I was visiting. On the way out she seemed to not be too busy so I had to ask her something. I could not tell if she were Mexican or Asian and I really wanted to see what she looked like under that mask so I asked her if she would remove the mask so I could see her face. I told her that it was getting the best of me to know what she looked like. She said a lot of people think she is asian until she removes her mask. I must say, her simple beautiful smile and personality wrapped me around her little pinky. Now of coarse she is way to young for me and would not be interested in an old guy like myself, but that does not keep me from telling her how beautiful she looks nor does it keep me from visualizing her wonderful smile all day long. It may seem a little silly, but I have been glowing with a smile just thinking of her ever since she took off that mask.

Have you ever met someone who had that effect on you before? just a total stranger who you will never see again the rest of your life.

How many beautiful faces have we been missing due to this mask mandate?

I've never had that kind of reaction to a stranger's face. An experience to look forward to.

Nice to see you again.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

I think as I get older I appreciate the little things more. Last years isolation has in many ways opened up my eyes to seeing things differently, not politically, religiously or visually, but more on an overall vibe kind of way. I have always been a very visual person so having to really connect with people you where you can't see their expression has made me focus harder to the overall detail. I do hope you get to have that kind of experience one day because it really is heart warming. Thanks for stopping by BJ!
