Hi, I am new here , and i want to know how to earn point for using groups

As the Title says, I am new here and i wanna know from other fellow users how would i earn the points via Posts, Comments and Likes. The information is out there if one really searches but in an organized manner and with advice from experienced users is what i am looking for. I am currently able to manage a couple of points but then i cant use more than 3 points in a day.. is it normal...with reference to chats/IM. Would you guys help me here ?
