Christmas Time

Christmas Time Yup, it's that time of year again. "The most wonderful time of the year" I like this time, but I don't really appreciate the music. Mariah tells me 100 times a day that I am all she wants for Christmas, but so far I have not been delivered to her doorstep, gift wrapped... And 'White Christmas' is all very nice, but here in Holland it's usually wet Christmas, as we cannot remember the last really white Christmas in our small country below the sea.... This one gives me that wintery feel, without being all about sleighbells and the likes. It was released as a 7" single here in the Low Countries back in 1978 and somehow I liked it. The last of the glam rock bands perhaps, called Angel. The song is appropriately called "The Winter Song" and that's what it is. No more, no less. I would include a link to one or the other popular video channel, but this site won't let me. So you'll have to search for yourself. But I can assure you it's there. |

And George Michael tells me That Last Christmas I Gave You My Heart, well not you, and the very next day through it away. Is that why I had such a sore chest the early part of the year????
