Don't lie! But maybe I should. It seems most women make an - ehhhummm "assumption" about what men my age can, and cannot, do. I always add "workout 3X a week" in my emails, but not sure the underlying message of general cardiovascular health (OK - ability to get it up!!) really gets through. I get how everyone tries to present the best image of themselves as they possibly can, and age is easy enough to fudge, but if you your goal is really to meet someone and have an any more than "meet once and never talk to again" thing then honesty seems to be a requirement Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

I don't lie about my age on here but when somebody says that I can't possibly be 64 .... I tell them I'm really 50 but I liked just do people would say I look good for my age!  Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Do you lie about your age on your profile? Since this site, and others like it, have had data breaches putting you actual info here is risky at best. I am off by 3 years or less. If so, do you let a person know your real age if you meet and want see them again or do you stick the lie? I've let every woman I've met know before, or on the first meet. Have you encountered others here you learned had been lying about their age? Just about all of them have been a different age. How did it affect you? Not a big deal, as long as you are compatible he exact age doesn't mater. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Its like lying about your endowment. Why lie about because if you meet (since that is why we are here) it is going to be found out you lied. Just tell the truth and go on about your daily chores. What i say is age is just a number if you click in all other ways. Dont judge a book by its cover because you may be missing a good story.

Why does there have to be concern over age? Why is there a blank for you to fill in an age number? Legally you have to be a minimum of 18 years old to be here. That's all. You have a picture, you have a profile, you meet in person. Done. Now you decide if you want to be with them. For the most part, people are not on this site for long term commitments, so I don't see why people are getting so excited about false ages.

Too many people are liars, or scan artists on here, trying to get people to sign up for their third party cam sites. Really wish the reporting function worked better for this stuff.

I'm in complete accord with my age my lady - no point of changing it, apart from some minor details about the specific date of birth etc, for security reasons Besides, it's better to look more youthful and fit, than pretend being someone else Cheers - P

I have encountered lots of lying on dating sites, I can only comment on the women that I have met. A lot seem to want younger men, or lie about there age but to me the worst thing is their body type, they are all mostly "average" when in reality they are not. To me age is a number it's the mind that's most important and the initial attraction.

I don't think I've got my actual birthday on here due to phishing, data breaches, etc, but the year will be correct - that's not something I would mislead others on. However, given I will be reaching a certain age in a month or so which would take me into another age-bracket, it is tempting to be "economical with the truth" and adjust the year. But I probably wont and just have to accept it.

I did vote hun and lying about peoples ages have been going on here since I first joined this site many years ago. Its sad that people feel the have to lie about their age here, especially when people actually meet.. I hope you have a great day.. If you think about , it's not lying , it personal security protection. Something like nobody should be using their actual first and last names on public dating sties.

A wrong age [on purpose or by design], is not a big deal to get all agitated over. Nobody from any internet dating site has open and honest fun right from the beginning. Nobody. There's always a period of adjustment, if a period last that long. If the heat between you is strong enough, you're going to forget about 100 percent honesty. Lying about age is harmless. Lying about their health , that could affect you, is dangerous. You might then say, "He lied about his age, what else is he lying about". The answer: Who knows. But this is the chance you take. Even people with the correct age , may not be "Open and honest" about everything..... and they really don't need to be, unless it adversely affects you. ... So being 55 and saying they are 44, is not going to harm you one little bit.

I have my true age on my profile. I had a guy tell me lied about his age, only after we'd been together a couple of times. He said he was 65, and was actually 75. Had me completely fooled.
