The term should be "Maskgender"... You have the DNA you were born with, that doesn't change. Transgender doesn't actually exist. Someone, mostly men, go to elaborate surgical lengths to show a mask of how they feel. Does a man become woman? No. Some maskings just better than others, but they're still males who want to live as females. Why they couldn't just be happy being a gay male, is a good question. Only gay men will go with them anyway. The other good question is, why would a man maskgender himself as a female, to date lesbians or other maskgenders male to female?   |

I would never call myself a woman as there is much more (re..porterpiper's mention of cramps, pregnancy, and menopause) to being a woman. Some even don't like the label transwoman even though i have always felt and have been told that I have the heart of a woman. I won't argue with someone who has never felt the pain of feeling different and not being able to do anything about it as society would demand that males and females follow certain stereotypes in order to fit in the two gender system. It is something that follows you around your entire life. Some choose to keep it hidden inside or limited to some private moments while others embrace it more and strive to expound on those feelings even if it is dangerous to their well being. As the saying goes, until you have walked in our heels, then discussing the issue of feeling trans is not going to make sense to you or anyone else. Gina 🤷♀️🤦♀️

Pretending and delusional are mutually exclusive. If you know something isn't true but act like it is you are pretending. If you believe something is true when it isn't you are delusional. Physically yes they are male. I agree that they are not women. Someone who has gender dysphoria isn't simply pretending, We shouldn't be encouraging delusions, but we shouldn't be tormenting people who have delusions either. Third gender allows us to talk about them without buying into the delusion but also without disturbing them further. There's more to being a man than being male. If a male doesn't act in masculine ways it is common to say he's not a real man. There is also the option of seeing them as something else, neither male nor completely female. When I see a tran I don't see a woman but not really a "man acting like a woman" either. A "third gender", special, accepted and different might perhaps not develop the mental illness "gender dysphoria". We'll never know while society in general has so much bigotry against them. Your are right, man can change outside but you are still a man inside. if any man want to carry a baby for nine months, go thur monthly cycle cramps and pain, and last but not least menopause, then welcome to being a woman

For some it's probably a cop out can't handle being a real man but it all boils down to mental illness. It's a proven mental illness and by them denying it proves the mental illness even more.
