 Had hernia repair surgery last week. Wanted to mention that in my latest Status Update, and tried to do so. There was no other content in the Update, just my mentioning the operation and that I would be taking it easy for a few weeks. It was (pending) for a short while, but never got posted.
I'm trying to understand what they would find objectionable about that?

 Your guess is as good as mine. This site once took over a month to approve a profile change. All other times no approval was needed.
Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth.

If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

 I have had the same issue. On laptop you can update it in a few places and I find if I try the different options it takes. I am pretty sure it's just a site issue - and that they do not pay someone to sit there and reject status updates....

Thanks for your reply. Am not so certain that they don't pay someone to monitor the Updates. Have had a couple other ones not get posted because of what I assume were 'commercial advertising' violation reasons. One mentioned a business nearby to me and the other one mentioned a film or musical release/CD that was coming out (can't remember exactly which).
