Been expecting them all week. Why on earth would a group of investors travel so far just to visit a property they "planned" on investing in I have no idea? Most times when we get investors here they are usually local, they are given a party, or taken out for a night by the one owner and shown a good time, and perhaps some might venture over to look at one or two of the open units usually the up graded places. But these guys.. nope, no party no schmoozing and they wanted a tour of the entire property. They wanted to see the good, the bad, and the ugly. There were about four or five of them, when they stopped into the unit I was doing they seemed rather a nice bunch of young guys. All in their late twenties, or early thirties... introducing themselves to me ( no hand shaking in the age of Covid though ) They asked me a few questions about the unit we were in that I was pre cleaning getting ready for painting, and how long I'd been working here ( they seemed impressed when I told them ) They thanked me ("?") for my time and were on their way to the next area to look at. Now as I said we get investors here all the time ( well sometimes ) and for the most part I really don't interact with any of them. They look at the books, and the P & L statements some view a couple of units and decide to invest or not that way. But these guys....well the last time someone was so interested in actually touring the property they way they were doing was when the present owners were looking to buy it from the previous owners. That makes me pause and think this might be just a bit more than some guys looking to make a simple investment for a quick return. I could be making a mountain out of a mole hill here I don't know? I'll let you know what happens.. that is if I'm told what happens.  Any who, I was working inside yesterday as I said.. out of the cold for a change. Doing something that didn't involve me busting my butt with a broom sweeping up salt. Though looking out the window this morning, I can see Mother Nature is taking aim to dump another round of snow on us. The storm wasn't supposed to hit us until this evening, but the stuff is already falling out there. Hopefully the heavy stuff will hold off till the end of my work day? Time for me to hop into my shower now.....

New owners might be nice. Maybe they would hire more help. Or invest money into something useful for you.
