Christopher Columbus sociopathic monster! Christopher Columbus never discovered North America. He never stepped foot in North America. He first landed in the Bahamas. And then what is now known as Hispaniola. Where he enslaved the Native Indians. Rxped and tortured and murdered them. He required a tribute of gold every 3 months if they could not then their hands were cut off. And if they did not bleed to death they wore their hands around their neck. As young as 14 years old. Christopher Columbus was a monster sociopath. He was responsible for the beginnings of the Atlantic slave trade. He brought slaves back to Spain to be sold. It is also rumored that he was not Italian nor Spanish but Portuguese. Born illegitimate son to a Portuguese Prince. And that he was a spy for the Portuguese crown. When he pursued Spain to fund his expeditions. |

You are right about one thing. What people say can be as useless as people roller skating on the desert. That is definitely a fact.

It briefly mentions slavery. Columbus had his men roundup 1600 Native Indians as slaves. 550 of them were brought back to Spain to be sold. It is estimated 200 died on the trip. The rest were given to his men to do with as they pleased. Which gave way to the Atlantic slave trade.
