I was trying t o remember the last time I shaved my face.

Seems like a weird thing t o think about.

I haven't had a haircut since COVID, either. My photos are out of date.
The way this site treats -- I don't really care : )

Anyway... kinda got t o recalling some truly fabulous moments in my past few decades of life.
I don't like t o brag, and some topics are still under non-disclosure agreements. But I'll share a brief moment or five.

Has anyone viewed a TV series from the 80s called " Moonlighting "?

Cybill Sheppard, at that time, was so lovely. She was Betsy in Taxi Driver

I forgot that. Praise Wikipedia. Keeps making me sound smart.

But the reason I brought it up is that Bruce Willis plays David Addison, an absolutely glorious role. His first one, I thin k

The really goofy part is that I went t o high school with David Addison. Who went on t o become a private detective, and later... an investigator for the American government.
Unfortunately, he's dead now. But that's neither here-nor-there.

I grew-up watching this show ( among others -- I don't own, nor watch television these days ).
Five seasons.
I still think it holds. Pretty good writing and characterization.

But what do I know?

I DO know, Bruce ( Walter, actually ) told me that " Moonlighting " was the greatest fun he has ever had in front of a camera.
When I watch it now ( just background noise ), it makes me smile.

I'm so glad you found me again. I miss the old gang.

Thank you for the comment.

I wish this site would not edit my posts. Makes me look illiterate : )

Why the bloody-Hell can't I write the word " to "? Fuckin' stupid. And " think " comes out " thin "????!!!???

Anyway... I hope you and your lovely lady are still well.

I have a photo I want to share. Next post.

Cheers!

I used to love Moonlighting. The original TV 'will they won't they' dynamic for me. I'm delighted to find someone not only remembers the show but recalls enjoying it (is still enjoying it!). I reference it when I encounter a would-be couple and am often met by blank stares (or a blank screen, depending how and where).

It's the first thing I remember seeing Bruce Willis in.

Question. Do you remember the music album brought out around the same time or following the show? Late '80s. The Return of Bruno or some such title. (Why pretend I don't know that is the exact title? 😄) Let's just say it was of an era.

Yeah... not a great album. 1987. " Respect Yourself " by The Staples Singers was the single.

Bruce has come a long was since then. He was amazing in " 12 Monkeys ".

I loved Moonlighting and Bruce Willis in it (as well as Cybill Sheppard). Funny, I was just wathing "The Movies that Made Us" episode about Die Hard and how they didn't think the sarcastic Bruce Willis and his funny Moonlighting style would make a good action star. Funny how epically wrong they turned out to be. And do you know how DARK that movie would have been without his humor? Never would have become such a classic. I'll have to dig around on the internet and find an old episode or two to watch. Been about 35 years.

Yeah... I don't think a Clint Eastwood would have made the cut ( no offense to him, understand).

FWIW, all the Moonlightings are here ( if you can deal with the pop-ups, view at full-screen and they'll leave you alone : ) --------->
