A recent change unfortunately. Possibly to try to get rid of the fake profiles trying to lure you to other sites, but probably more to do with getting more people to pay to use the site. As far as people still contacting you after you've said you can't reply, some won't be able to see that info, but you're right, the majority won't have looked

I'm not sure when you were last here McFun but the site has been changing over the last several years making it almost impossible to contact other members unless you subscribe financially. It's now far more commercially oriented, basically nothing is free except for blogging, and goodness knows how much longer that will last. You can't even accept an IM from someone without either stumping up, or using points. There are a number of ways to earn points, though I think even those are becoming more difficult to acquire. If you click the points link on your home page (desk top version) it will tell you there how to earn them. There is also some weird 'ambassador' programme which I think allows ladies to gain gold membership, but you need to then send out icebreaker messages to random people which may attract even more abuse? Also, I'm not even sure if that's still available. Last thing you could do of course is subscribe. But there are so many glitches, and you can't even interact with non-paying members fully, so perhaps there are better things to spend your money on. I'm really sorry that the nutters and bamsticks are plaguing you, and you've not even been here a day! Otherwise, if you hang around the blogs for a while you'll find some interesting reads, maybe even an opportunity to chat with people of a similar mind. albeit they might be thousands of miles away. There is still one way for you to interact with everyone for free, by putting up a private mail post here. Just for the record, I read the entire thing. So you see, you're wrong to say "... no one reads anything"  So, Curvy4Fun9inch, let me ask you this . . . I understand your frustration. If their idea is to get more people to not direct people to other sites, their plan is as much a failure as the Edsel. MORE and MORE profiles with another site and their name there! Just a question if you don't accept messages or IMs how do interested people contact you?
