The main purpose of the site is two have people hook-up and meet and see where it goes. With no new membership coming to the site on a regular basis, all that's left is us old timers. Most have gone elsewhere to seek what they need.

Yes I've belonged to swing life style for a few years. It's a site made by couples for couples. They will allow single men to join but they frown on single men. I believe one would have to pay for a membership to get anywhere. I met an attached woman from the site and we became a friend for awhile. I never had sex with her because her man was very well endowed and she has a girlfriend. A couple came over to my house for a threesome. We had some fun but I didn't want to see them again. As for SLS, give it a try, you have nothing to lose.

The operators of the site have made it much more difficult to communicate. I enjoyed the time when you received points for blogging and you could use the points to message or IM. The Top fans feature was fun but now has been all but discarded. The Pandemic has made things more difficult but this site offers very little to paying customers.

Demographics and its trends don't seem to agree with you assumptions. If there is one that we can count on in life not to change .... it's that there will always be "Change" Lol

Hmmm, Google could explain Demographics and Trends probably much better but basically each Generation has its own preferences in style, music, and lifestyles, even sexual conduct. The larger the populace of the generation the more economically influential they have on society from birth to grave. The “Boomers’ refers to a member of the demographically large generation born between the end of WWII and the mid-1960s and because of their high numbers. Baby Boomers have had a greater influence in shaping society and creating trends with their Bra Burning and Sexual Revolution. In this particular case, sadly they are reaching an age where the urge for sexual pursuits in their life will be less. Plus….. Plagues and Pandemic tend to breed more Puritanism, than Promiscuity. Okay, there you have, but, I'm curious about what improvements and services you think passion is making to stay competitive in a shrinking market. and do you actually think the membership is growing?

I've been on other sites, including SLS. ANd what I've found is quite a few people, like me, are on multiple sites. SLS is NOT my cup of tea, at least not having a partner to swing with. ANd I'm honestly not at heart a swinger anwyay, although a lot of my friends are. ANd I'm not bi, which on SLS appears to be what most couples are looking for. ANd if it's a single man, he's looking for a bi companion to swing with. But thats my experience and observations only. Distance is a drawback here, most people I encounter on here through blogs and the chatrooms live too far away to be considered as anything more than online friends and confidantes. And there is nothing wrong with that, but I want something more. THe numbers are on my side here though, much more men than women, I don't really have to "look for anyone, they find me. So I sift through the inbox and can choose to respond to who I wish. I don't think men have that advantage here, at least that's what I have been told. But I do like the blogs and chatrooms on here. If anything it is an opportunity to get to know someone much deeper than just reading a profile. You can observe how they treat and react to others, rather than read their intrepretation of themselves on their profile. If I get a random email on here from someone I might be interested in that doesn't blog themselves, or I haven't run into from a chatroom, I will direct them to find my blog. after a fe exchanges. Then their reactions to it will tell me quite a bit.

Good information Jules! I met a couple last year that do the cruises and couple only bashes and were very disappointed when they were canceled because of the Pandemic.

No matter what they are buying it's number of cars in the parking lot that tells the story. It seems you are basing your opinion on feelings more than statistics or empirical observation. That last sentence of your comment made me smile, when I imagined a CEO addressing the members of the board and stating he has decided the best way to stay competitive is to make changes whether the “Customers like them or Not.” BTW did you ever master the art of cooking Venison!

Dear BiggLala, sorry to confuse you with the cars in a parking lot. It was an analogy for site members online. Here is another, I saw on the news the other day: A man with Covid argued with hospital staff, even when he was put on a ventilator. and insisted it was not real right to the day he died. As long as you are happy in your beliefs, what does Demographics and Trends matter. As Bob said “ Don’t Worry, Be Happy”
