Stripper diary - Chapter One: How I Became a Dancer It wasn't a special day. I can even say it was pretty lame. The pandemic was just beginning, and restaurateurs faced dilemmas - close the business or try to save (by reducing employment). I worked as a waitress. My first job. I ran from table to table, took orders from customers, transferred it to the kitchen, and then delivered it from the kitchen. Vigorous work, and sometimes tiring - especially when there were people who could not behave. People who think they are allowed to vent their frustrations in a restaurant. Of course, the waitresses had to listen to these atrocities, because they had direct contact. In any case, due to the reduction of employment, I said goodbye to this job and faced a huge problem. No job means no money, and without money, I can't pay my bills. I began to intensively search for a new job. But in this unstable situation it was not so easy. One time I got a from a friend that she heard from someone that some place was looking for a dancer. I have been dancing since I was a child, so I thought it'll be ok. I didn't know then what character this dance should have. I got a phone number and made an appointment with the manager. At first I wanted to run away, but the need to pay my bills won and I stayed overnight for a trial. * * * Would you like me to tell you more about me and my work? should I continue this blog? |

also considering that strip clubs were next after food joints to close and strippers were sent home too...what more could there be to tell?
