About Me Born and raised in upstate NY, my parents divorced when I was 12 and my father won custody of me in the divorce. We live in a very rural area so not many neighbors or people close with other children so I was used to being alone or hanging out with my father. It was a pretty dull childhood, he was somewhat strict but let me be a child. This lead me to be quiet and shy in school and being a bookworm boys looked elsewhere for the popular girls and had no interest in this geeky girl. There are many people much like you here and many others that are so different.
