oh well . you have never seen my cam then . lol . yup its a sex site . but i wore a f trump shirt for about 8 weeks on my cam . n holy hell . i found out a lot about myself , n oh i can't read nor can i write . as far as the relationship thing . you never added that part to your blog .....

If the blog is about something political, then I say it belongs here. But if the blog/comment is about another topic, then all comments directed at it should be about it. But to say I can't/shouldn't write about something political is wrong. It may be inappropriate, but I don't think it is wrong. Sometimes a person just needs to express him/herself here. That should never be discouraged. I wrote of my hate for 45 in many different places, and when that was the topic I did it here. I also took several surveys HERE where I could express my hate for 45 and the repugnant party. So I don't think you can just say leave politics out of this site.

On the Main Blog page at the top it says . . . Blogs are a simple way to create your own regularly updated homepage on Passion. They're a great way to find out more about other members and to tell people more about yourself and your real life experiences with people you've met on Passion! It doesn't restrict political subject matter. But YOU can easily not read it. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Is it too much to ask to leave political comments out of a sex site?..... Why, yes, it is....it is the nature of any online forum, regardless of content or focus.....and as redrockrascal above has said, one just needs to ignore it and move on......a fire deprived of it's oxygen ceases to exist....

"whatever floats out boats" You said it! Regardless of whether or not this is a sex site (and that depends on which site you signed up on), if it floats your boat, then it's fair game. Yes, it would be nice if people posting a comment on a blog post would make it pertinent to the subject, but it's not a requirement. The owner of the blog is capable of deleting the comment if they so choose and you are free to move on to another blog post if you don't agree with the post and/or comments. Pagan  Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

Just like Sex, Romance, Relationships, Friendships and etc... Politics are just another part of life; however, in my opinion, Politics does not belong in a topic of discussion unless the author of the topic included it into the subject matter.

Its a persons blog to do as they see fit. People should feel free to by pass if it doesnt sync to what they see as fit its not merely a ' sex site', its a people site, and that involves ALL the nuances of ...people. I would never come into someones home and dictate how they decorate. ......but thats just whom i am ~~

No I don't see why they should be left out. As long as not against the tos people can say what they want. As for political comments when the blog isn't political I don't know why someone would BUT we still have semi free speech. Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth. If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

If its a relationship blog then no there shouldn't be any politics stated there. But members have all kinds of blogs here, and politics is a hot topic. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Lala, in response to your comment (If this is your honest opinion, then you (and others) have answered your own poll question.) There isn't a right or wrong answer. This is a discussion and this is going to draw in different opinions. THAT is the point of the poll question. In response to your other comment you stated (Those who voted to nix the politics are the people who have a one-dimensional view of this site and what it is or "supposed to be" about. I say this because you'll notice that majority of the comments are from regular, active bloggers. ) The voting represents views of people who prefer to not post a comment and choose to do so anonymously. We do not have names of those who voted, we do not know if they are regular bloggers or newbies. Either way, the votes show valid views and opinions which should be considered valid opinions.

It depends what you're referring to as "politics", that could be pretty broad. And it's not possible to just "mail in votes" fyi... you must be registered to vote and you get one per registration and you can only register once. You can't vote by just "mailing in a vote" LOL... anytime I hear that I just think... ugh... dumb.
