So it begins ...

So it begins ... All packed and ready to get on over to the Greyhound terminal for a 7 hour bus ride to Los Angeles. I opted to take the bus so I can get some paperwork done while in route. Sure I could have flown and had the entire day to goof off in LA but I like mixing with the common people - get a better sense of who they are by being in their shoes as it were. I get into LA about 5pm and a long time buddy of mine is setting it up so we can camp on the beach for Saturday night. Then the next two days will be 3-a-day workouts for my athletes. We have it set up on Monday to do a Venice Beach workout at dusk - the kids are going to really love that - then be able to leap into the surf right after. We board a plane Tuesday morning to get to the venue. We spend 3 days getting acclimated to the weather / altitude conditions and then we compete. We fly back to LA next Monday and I get to spend a day really goofing off - one day all to myself before I board another plane to Utah! Yes, I know, I know ... how lucky can one guy be ~ right? Oh and where am I going first? Think tornados! If I don't get swept away to OZ, I will blog about the trip and try and include a few photos here and there. .
