 I agree with Morphious58 100% - great response I may have to borrow it for my profile.

However man, funny to me is that if you mention your preferences how many people get upset/angry about it. Point in case just the other day I had a fella tell me it was my lost and I was missing out. WTF.

I think that whatever you prefer is what you prefer BUT I do tend to stay away from the men who strictly date black women based on a perceived notion that being with us is different from being with a woman /man of any different race. In that case I point out that it's all about the person you're with, their attitudes, their body, them. Just because they're black/white/asian/etc doesn't mean the sex will be different. It just as Morphious58 says, it based on something that you find attractive in another person.
