Yesterday afternoon i was pulling weeds in my fence around my garden when an unknow weed to me stung me like id stuck my hand in a Honets nest !!! Then plant attacts nerves !!!, it,s a very strong burning sting along with the pain of something like having splinters shoved in your fingers & hand... its a slinder upright growing weed about 8 too 12" tall wiith leafs the size of your thumbnaiil kinda hart shaped with jagged edges, its stalk is just under a 1/4" thick & it has fine clear hairs a 1/4" long. Unbeknowing to me there are a huge familyof stinging nettles, i know florida has one very well known with big green leafs & small white flowers, this one isn,t that one. I went to the emergency room for help !!!, that was a big waste of time, gave some pill for infection & scrubed my hand with soap 4 hours after the fact !!!. Double dose of benadryl was of no help !!!. Here it is some 12 hours later & my hand is stiff, still burns like fire & i can barely touch the keypad on my cell phone... does,nt seem to be any swelling from this bee like sting. !!!. Please be very carefull & watch out for this wweed, a child or teen could,nt handle this weeds sting !!!. Rubing alcohol helped some but nowheres near enuff !!!. Ice water was of no help with the burning !!!. Please warn others of this weed & help look for something to help stop it,s pain !!!. I,ve never come acoss a plant this bad for pain other then a catclaw bushs thorns. Think be for you reach & pull & wear thick gloves !!! By all means... i,ll try to take some pics of it & post them as soon as they growup again... Update, i took another double dose of Benadryl around 5:00 am this morning made me drowzy, wokeup @ 7:30 am & most of the burning pain has gone... hands still sensitive & lite pain but much better now . Welp one more double dose of benadryl did the trick, im pain free 24 hours after it started !!!.

Its been 11 days since the hurricane hit here in north florida. Its been way tooooo many since i ruffed it outdoors and only 6 months since i had back surgery so this experiance has been a real bitch on me. Power crews worked their asses off geting our power backup an running and over a mile of poles and lines had to be replaced again due to a damn semi comeing throu and snaged a down line and ripped down #6 power poles and new lines but the guys gave it their all and got done again. Now, for the very sad part, this week #2 linemen lost theiir lives due to back feeding power throu the lines because of ppls generators !!!, our hearts go out to their familys and kids if they had any. They died doing their and what they loved to do, helping those in of help !!!. North florida from tallahassee westward too destin area is flattened !!!, theres no hospitals or morques, ice houses to store the thousands of bodys being pulled from the devistation, their stacking bodys in parking lot and sidewalks under national guards standing watch over them. Their haveing to use sulfur and lime to help with the decaying and smell, it looks like war zone over there from blountstown too destin !!!. To those comeing to help with cleanup or to rebuild, bring your guns !!! You will it !!!. Concealed permits are being waved !!! Shoot to keep down and cuff or shot to kill !!!. If your coming too sight see, drink or smoke dope ----> DON,T C O M E !!!, we don,t ya and we will deal with you !!!. Thanks to ALl who are able to come help !!!.

Could be living to outdoors life for the next 3 weeks or longer. The Damage in our area is the worst in 60 years.
