I enjoy getting to know people and especially the people who read my posts. In the past I have even done interviews of bloggers so people can get to know more about the fascinating people who hangout in Blogville. Below are a few questions I would like to hear your answers to so that I/we can get to know you better. My answer will be listed in the old preverbal first comment box.
1) Who do you blog for?
I see many on here who just post pictures of other people and never themselves. Pictures that are there to get more people to visit and follow them though there might not be much interaction with the visitors. I see thoughtful and thought out post where someone is wanting to make a difference or share something that is of importance to them. I see humorous blogs where the writer likes to provide daily laughter. I see the blogs where the writer wants to share their sexual experiences. These are just a few of the types and I want to know... who do you blog for.
2) Who do you follow? and why?
3) Who have you met from the blogs and were they the same in person as they are on here?
4) What blogger do you want/wish to meet one day? or maybe you prefer to stay private.
5) What annoys you the most or turns you away in a post?
6) How many active bloggers are in your area and do you ever interact with them?

Fakes, Flakes and Shakes

Okay so I was going for a catchy headline. I am not a person who likes to focus on the negatives but I have come to the understanding that a one picture female profile is equal to some lame dude fishing for points or getting thrills out of deceiving people.
Example: IM is full of these people. I see profiles and usernames that are very forward about wanting to chat or meet someone yet there is nothing but crickets if you ever reach out to them. That is why I do not get my hopes up and actually enjoy giving out compliments to total strangers who live too far away from me to actually meet. The real ones will reply back with at least a thanks. It makes my day to know I put a smile on someone else's face.
Last week I reached out for points in return for something special. I had three wonderful women follow through. One replied back from my request with the information I need to do something for her. This week while at the beach I was able to follow through with that special gift (non sexual) and look forward to hearing back from her when she receives it in the mail.
I am in pretty good shape for a 50 year old man. I may not have six pack abs, but I also am not potbellied. I am tall and confident in myself and treat others the way I wish to be treated. Can honestly say I don't think there are many others like that on here. For people who reach out to me, whether for friendship with a mutual interest or even those who guys have read my profile stating that I am a straight male but still try to see if I would be interested, which I would not be, I still treat them with respect and give them a reply. I'm a people person, and this place, this username, those sometime trying people will not change me. I can look back over my life and smile knowing I have tried my best to be that person who has a positive outlook on life.
How do you treat others? What have been your experiences on IM? and do you have an optimistic opinion of this site or are you just merely killing time while soaking in a little sexual entertainment?

I made a comment on someone’s post recently and her reply got me to thinking. I mentioned something to the fact of “being in the friends zone” with girls and she replied that is just a made up thing by guys. (Insert, scratching my head thinking about that reply here.) Are we guys missing obvious signals women are giving out, or maybe it is just me. This lady talked about wanting SEX but the guys just don’t catch her signals. For me, I like someone to be a little more forward, straight to the point. It can be simply talking about things they love and maybe wishing they had someone to do it with. Oh, so that may be to direct for most women but short of just grabbing me and ripping my shirt off that is probably what it will take. I think that might also be why there are so many men on this site. At least here you know they are looking for something sexual as well and that can break through a lot of the things that take so long to get through.
On behalf of all the (nice) guys here, and especially myself, LADIES…
1) can you tell me what are some of your signals indicating that you are ready and want it that we are missing?
2) I have never been to a swingers party and I am wondering if it is any different there with signals to tell a guy you are interested in having a little fun with them?
3) is "the friend zone" just something men made up?

When you spend a week in South Beach you can't help but see a lot of sexy people. I am a people watcher and really enjoy seeing how people dress and what they think is sexy. For me this week, the South American cut bikini bottoms and side boob tops were a huge turn on. Normally you will see topless women on the beach in that area but not so much this time of year. However, the mono bikinis with a side boob view were very hot. I also saw club wear done with the same side boob cut. So for me it is move over cleavage and hello side boob. Don't know exactly what it was but it really caught my eye.
So what do you find sexy these days and what turns you on the most?

Today was a good day as I got to visit the nude beach in Miami. It was not very crowded as you would expect on a week day. However I did see one thing I could not believe. A dark skinned man, not sure what nationality, stood on near the edge of the beach and peed back towards the lifeguard stand. I thought he had a leash in his hand at first and then I realized what he was doing. Sick! I noticed that most people there spoke a foreign language. I wonder if he might be from somewhere else where that is okay. It is not okay here, at least with me it is not. Other than that and not having anyone to put lotion on my back, hope it is not burnt, it was a good day. On the way back I decided to walk down the beach a ways before calling for a ride back to my hotel. Very few people out but there were people and as I was walking down another part of the beach I saw a teenaged couple having sex on the beach with most of their clothes still on. Again, I was not believing my eyes. Apparently they are pretty brave because it was in broad daylight. Oh well... it's a beautiful day here in Miami. Hope you enjoy my pictures and that my whiteness doesn't blind you.

Headed to Haulover Beach but I have a question?

Has anyone on here been to Haulover Beach in Miami and did you go alone? I am looking forward to making the trip next week but am a little worried about my back looking like a lobster. Are the people there approachable so you can find someone who will sunscreen your back? Otherwise I will just have to stay sunny side up the entire day. Results might be even worse even though I can sunscreen that side myself.
Also anyone from here live in that area? Thanks!

For me I think I would have probably dated more, had sex more, learned what I wanted earlier in a partner and possibly even would be living somewhere closer to the beach. Besides the obvious of more ways to meet others, I would have seen how beautiful some Caribbean areas are. I love the color of the water there and the year around warm weather. I HATE the cold and luckily we do not have long cold spells.
I also wonder if the reason why people are not getting married earlier in life is because they have a much larger view than we did when we were much younger. For us, it was school, the bar scene or a blind date and not much other than that. Now, there are loads of different types of dating sites, social clubs, outdoor social groups and so on.
So how do you think your life might have been different?

Have you ever had one of those "once in a lifetime" type of experiences with a lover? And what exactly was it that made is so exceptional? Looks, Ability, Attitude, Flexibility, etc...
For me it was someone I met from here. She was a small lady who had big energy. A beautiful smile, a smoking body and an incredible attitude and willingness. We did positions that I have not ever done before as well as some that gave me a great view of all of her lovely assets and most of all, the ability to see the enjoyment coming across her face. I must say, I have relived this one over a hundred times in my head and hope that one day we are able to meet again. We have stayed in touch over the years from a far.
So what was your experience and what made it so special?
I will be away from here for about a week but look forward to hearing your comments on the subject.

I did a search but did not find any active bloggers in the South Beach/Miami area and am hoping someone here can help. I went to Haulover Beach about 20 ago and really enjoyed it and looking forward to visiting there again next month. Does anyone here know of any forums for Haulover Beach? I visited one in New Jersey a couple ago and found a great forum for it and hoping to do the same for Haulover so that my time is more enjoyable. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
