Okay, I'm at home having a late lunch.
Thinking to myself... My laptop is on, what can I web search?
Typed my name and a placed I used to work at called
"The Hideaway South".
Loved this place, It was located in Northern VA just outside of DC.
WOW 9 to 10 years ago - where did it go!

Passing Boardwalk Hall which is on the Atlantic City Boardwalk sure seems have the Christmas spirit.
Had go and check the Christmas Trees.
Found the locals businesses can a tree and decorate them.
Best decorated tree wins a prize. Have no idea what the prizes are...
Boardwalk Hall is known for having concerts and sporting events.
The Beatles played Boardwalk Hall (back than known as Convention Hall) on August th, 64. Tickets $3.90each.

Every year at this time I find myself watching the Hallmark Channel for those special Holiday films...
On other channels watching those various Christmas specials such as Rudolph, Santa Clause is coming town etc...
We all have movies that touch us in a special way...
Each winter since 1979 - I find myself watching "Ice Castles"
Alexis Winston (Lynn-Holly Johnson) is a young girl who dreams of becoming a champion figure skater. One night, while practicing, Alexis suffers a terrible accident that takes her sight and threatens to destroy her dreams. In the midst of feeling sorry for herself she falls in love with a handsome young man named Nick (Robbie Benson) who (with help from her family) helps her to realize that she can still fulfill her dreams.

Myself and many others I know really enjoy creating Blogs on this site.
It seems for the past few months there are missing words and or numbers of what we type. Sometimes both.
Please look into it. Not sure what needs to be done. But it does need to be fixed.
Creating Blogs used to be fun.

The launch of MTV was on August 1st, 1981 :01am Eastern Time.
At the time I was working at a Major Recording Studio on West 57th. NY, NY
MTV changed many lives for those working in the industry.
Creating Music Videos became big business
The Record companies loved it.
Thinking another way besides Radio promote the band / artist

Woke up early and checking the new music production studio .
Finishing touches are really getting there.
The room is sounding good..
This morning I was playing around mostly on the synth and midi.
In January I'll shop various music programs to download my tracks and mention where you'll be able to find my material

It's Just A Chair...

This morning I thought about a chair I once had.
I bought it in '81 and gave it to my neighbor in '84 when moving from New York City to Northern Virginia.
This was a great chair to watch the early days of MTV
or just listening to music for hours on end.
I'm sure over the years we've all gave away, tossed out or sold items we now miss...

Local parties started this past week, and a Christmas Parade on the Atlantic City Boardwalk tomorrow.

As of January 2020 I'll be doing 3 new weekly blogs where I'll be looking for involvement from you.
1) "In The Studio"
Weekly blog related to the Music / Recording scene
***All music formats***
Big plus if you're a Musician, Audio Recording Engr. or Producer who has worked or is working in a Professional Recording Studio.
This will be a great place to share ideas, or to give tips on how to make sounds sound better.
2) "Those Were The Days"
We all have fond memories from the past.
Can be from years gone by as in...
Department stores no longer
Restaurants / Fast Food places no longer
Bicycles / Toy we once had
Songs we loved - Bought on a 45rpm
Cars from way-back-when
Past television shows we loved
You get the idea - Join in... and get involved.
3) "Atlantic City"
For the past couple of years my blogs were mostly about my beach area.
That's now going to change a bit.
Yes, Atlantic City has a great beach area. But from January 2020 on I'll also be promoting the city (including) The beach, Worlds longest Boardwalk, Restaurants, Casinos and the nightlife we offer.
It's not a perfect city but I do enjoy living here.
I'll tell you anything you want to know about Atlantic City, or there may be things You can teach me about AC...
