So I'm watching Hocus Pocus.
People make fun of Sarah Jessica Parker as having a big nose, or a horse face, but she could ride my broomstick any night, all night.
Then again, at this point I'd probably take Bette Midler.

I've been on this site for a long time. About five year under this username, and a few years under a previous username. It's changed.
There used to be quite a few local women on the site, and on IM. Now the majority of people on IM are couples, and Ts outnumber Fs.
The chat rooms used to be full of people (yes, mostly men, but a fair number of women, too). Now when I look at the chat rooms, there'll be one person looking at it...briefly.
I don't know if it's because of a change in the site (costing more points to do anything, etc), or if people are just drifting away from sites like this one.

I'm feeling down today. Have been for much of the last wee
I just had a good vacation, but I really don't want to be back at wor I want a vacation away from myself- just leave, and leave myself behind. Forget all the things that bug me, irritate me, annoy me. Dispense with my habits and flaws.
But I know that's not going to happen.
Before anyone suggests that I get help, I already have. I used to feel like this all the time, but now it's just an occasional darkness. I'll hang in, and get through it.

So my profile pic is a bit out of date- I've had a beard for the past couple of years. I've heard comparisons to Evil Spock and ZZTop, but a few weeks ago, a street performer thought my beard looked like that of Valdi, a Canadian singer/songwriter from years back.
His most famous song was "Play me, a rock and roll song, or don't play me no song at all...."
His second most famous song was "Dirty Old Man", and I guess I can't argue with that.

Way back in the 80s, many years ago, there was a goofy sketch comedy show on CBC called 4 on the Floor, and they did a bit called "Mr. Friendly" (about a TV show personality being questioned for a crime. You can see it on the usual online video clip sites- it was episode 6, about halfway through). I thought the skit was hilarious as a teenager, and I still remember the silly song they sang on it.
"Police man, police man, helps us when we're lost.
Police man, police man, like his salad tossed."
For decades, I thought this was just a silly statement about dinner preferences.
Thirty five years later, I realize it was a sexual comment.
I am a little slow at getting jokes sometimes.

Let's see....a few years ago, I made a post which contained the following:
Everyone has a sexual bucket list. Some are short, and some are long. Some have cunts, and some have dongs. Not one of them is like another. Don't ask me why, go ask your mother.
So what's on my list? So the province is getting another lockdown, because some idiots can't stop having parties, don't want to bother wearing a mask, or don't believe that there's actually a pandemic going around.
I'm an essential worker (officially, at least), so I can't afford to get sick or to spread anything around, so I've had to tighten my bubble. No more dates (at least not any that may result in hugs or making out, let alone sex). No more restaurants other than take-out (although, really, I've only been to of them since February).
I miss having friends gathered around the living room for game night, or for a wine tasting. I miss meeting new people in actual venues instead of dating sites.
I know- they say that glory holes still offer safe sex during a pandemic. But I don't have any doors or walls that I'm comfortable cutting holes in. And if there's any bars around here with such holes, I wouldn't know where loo I think the bars are being shut down, anyway.
Monogamy would probably also work, but that's always a challenge, isn't it? Finding a partner who wants commit is hard enough at the best of times.

I miss being able travel. Between my budget, and COVID, it looks like it might be a while, but I have long wanted travel around Europe with a railpass and a tinder account.
