My Debate Scenario For Monday Night

The headline in the Tuesday morning papers will read, "Millions Arrested In Display Of Indecent Acts Of Public Exposure." To demonstrate their utter abhorrence of the two Presidential candidates, millions of Americans gathered on America's highways, and did it on the road. Motororists rather than heeding the advice of one pundit who suggested running over protestors, got out of their cars and joined the nationwide love-in. One couple exclaimed to a reporter, "We were at Woodstock, this is bigger than Wodstock. We popped in a cassette of Physical Graffiti on the car stereo, and just fucked our brains out. It was wonderful." Reports across America report no casualties. Injuries were limited to frostbite and ligament damage. Some women were seen limping away in handcuffs. No blindfolds, though. In other news, Nielsen reports the ratings for the first Presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, were the lowest in recorded history.

I'm a child of the Sixties. Non-violence is my middle name. So, it should come as no surprise that on more than one occaision, I have walked into a crowded Starbucks, ordered my food and beverage, and when asked offered "BlackLivesMatter," for my name. And, I've done this on more than one occaision (ok, twice). But it is important to get the message accross. Like my Social Studies teacher, Mike Wagner did when he walked into my junior high, wearing an Israeli Army uniform, the day after the 1967 Six Day War ended. Mr. Wagner got canned, but parents united together to get him rehired. Groovy! Mike was very off the wall, but a damned fine teacher. But I drew the line when my inner Abie Hoffman whispered into my medulla oblongata say "BlackPussyMatters," shortly after the Sandra Bland tragedy. I forgive Abie, he's a sixties child after all. That I deemed a bit over the top. Besides, I live in Phoenix, not L.A. or S.F. And, oh yeah I reminded myself, this isn't the sixties anymore. Thank God!

In NY, Anthony Weiner is under scrutiny again. This time for communicating with 15 yo NC sophmore. Among the things he said to her was, "I will make you limp for a week." Now THAT's a line! passion members, take note. But I digress. In all the years Carlos Danger(field) was married to Human Abedin, never once did I see her limp. Did you? I'm sure that's the first thing that crossed the sophmore'so mind. They're growing up so fast these days, aren't they! Ok, here's what I want to know, is CNN hiding Huma video, is Weiner lying to the American public, again. Will this come up in the Trump/Clinton debate on Monday? I'm outta here!

My sexual counterparts who think they so clever. Ok, go for it. So this gold(finger?)member sends me a message I can't possibly read cause I'm standard. By accident, I get to read the message. The message is very long, and you gessed it already, it's in Latin. Easy to translate, as it was lifted from the Breaking Bad series. 'Taking matters into your own hands," yada, yada, yada. This gold member has another account, and sent me a second message in Latin. But I haven't been as lucky opening up the words. Judging by the first message, I do not believe it is worth the effort. So what do I make of all this? Just relax and enjoy the experience.

As a voter concerned about the direction my country is headed towards (off a cliff), I had hoped Gary Johnson would provide that alternative. The "media!" Or what's left of it has shut him out(Stein, too). What little I've heard is anything but motivating or inspirational. Politically speaking, I ain't feeling the Johnson.

I had an opportunity to rent The Best of Playboy After Dark. It's not much of a time capsule, because it jumps from the first episode from December 31, 1959, to late 1968. It's that first episode I want to focus on, here. The celebs who pass through Hef's Chicago mansion are all icons, all young (Lenny Bruce hops around quite a bit, excuse the pun), now gone. The highlight of the evening is the introduction of Cy Coleman's new song, "The Best Is Yet To Come." He tells Hef, he's just given the tune to Sinatra (who won't record it until 5 years later). Hef(with pipe) and his Playmates gather around the piano, and listen to young Coleman belt out what is today a music standard(F.Y.I. I love this song, I've danced to this classic). After the song is over, Hef is his usual stoic self. I don't truly don't know if Coleman realized that night, that he had penned a tune that will be played forever. I mention all this because Hugh Hefner, an American Original, won't be around with us much longer. I wanted to celebrate a moment in time with you good folks, and to remind you of what Hugh Hefner has meant to the American landscape,. And if you are suddenly wondering why Donald Trump doesn't avail himself of "The Best Is Yet To Come," in his campaign stops, yeah, I'm scratching my head about that, too!

The rooms are a ball of confusion for anyone who isn't familiar with someone in real life, too. The result is small talk. At times very small talk amongst well-meaning folks who can't type fast enough to keep up their end of the convo. What to do, what to do? Admittedly, I confess to knowing no one. And so, I have come up with a plan. In the wee hours, if no one is in a room, if I have a thought or two, I will tweet it. In lieu of a blog post, I leave something I think is borderline clever for next lad or lass who enters the room to read. Then I leave, no need to linger. And if I find myself in an active room, I'll watch where the talk is headed, and if I think of something cogent to add, I'll tweet something out and then split. Like I said, I don't know anyone. I leave a seed (or virus, if you prefer), if someone is amused great, if not, I wasn't there long enough to be "disruptive." It's probably all very selfish on my part. Hit and run, without consequences. That is unless, in this otheraise "off the rack" sex site, some dame deems me fit for public consumption."
