How to look up images on profiles,

We know that there are numerous fake profiles that show every day. Some are easy pick out just by following the catphishers description. Here's how check out where the often lovely pictures come from. I found this a Fetlife profile.

Cite your sources, and ways how do so
We’ve been there. Browsing the webz, looking through hot pictures, funny ones or deep thoughts, and going ‘whoa. I need share this’.

Now, not everyone is like Rumag*, usually people, artists and photographers in particular, don’t put watermarks in prominent places as not to distract from the art they created. Which also means, with a snip of the croptool, the signature is gone forever. Which sucks. Citing is a huge source of income for artists who post their art online, as people will be able to find them and buy artwork from them for example, if they want.

So, what can you do, to help creators when you find that one image without source?

1. Reverse google search. **
**(On laptops/desktops) **

Go to images.google.com
In the searchbar, you see a camera-icon. Click this
Here you get the option to post the direct link to the image (right click > copy image location), or upload it from your files, and click the blue submit button
Hopefully find the source
**(On mobile devices) **

Go to https://images.google.com
(this is the one I use, if you use a different one, please let me know in the comments!)
Click on the up-facing arrow and select the image from your gallery
Click on the magnifying glass
Hopefully find the source
