Who can communicate with who, for how much?
Can Free members send anything, anyone? Can Free members receive anything from anyone?
Bottom line, can free members ever hook up through passion?
What are the pricing tiers? The initial sign up is confusing. For example, there seem to be prices for one month membership, which anybody might do for a trial run. When I look at the “extend membership” page, there is yet another price! There is no explanation or definitions of terms explaining what you get for how much.
So I go and get a prepaid VISA card, and when I am transferred the payment page - apparently a 3rd party processor- they don’t accept the prepaid cards from the major companies!
So I go buy one of the “hundred” kinds of gift cards that they do accept, a Home Depot variable amount card that I put $30 bucks on. I sign up for the $27 one month Gold membership; I consider the slightly cheaper alternative - $25, but since there is no information on the difference I say ‘Fuck it’, and click okay. Next thing I know, the entire $30 bucks has been taken, and I am informed I have a 24 day membership! What the Fuck?! How is 24 days considered a month?How did 27 bucks become 30? (I am glad I did not get the $50 card I considered.)
After this trial month I am extremely unlikely sign up again because: how am I supposed trust this outfit? There is no information available about exactly what you get for signing up. Once you are signed up, you are asked more in order communicate with ‘Standard Members’, without even any explanation of what that means! Are Standard Members people paying less than me, or the free accounts?
Now I don’t know if the messages that I send are being received by anyone! In days on the site I have sent 30 messages. The only 3 messages I have gotten were apparently automatic. I am not stupid, but I cannot figure out the IM option!
And it is really fucking annoying that you can’t use contractions in your profiles! Every apostrophe shows as & # 39 ; There hasn’t been a problem online using contractions for about 20 years!
I guess that is a clear demonstration of not having respect for your customers. They know that people are so highly motivated by libido that they will put up with all kinds of shit. Maybe I’m better off with Tinder and Plenty Of Fish, even though I cannot directly say what I am interested in sexually.
I will be really interested if anyone takes the time to actually respond to what I say here. I expect to only get dismissive comments, but maybe someone will be helpful and make me feel this community is worth exploring. I would not be at all surprised if this commentary is blocked or removed by passion. We will see.
