I used be here as part of a couple... We parted ways but had that connection that doesn't fade. Despite time and distance, we would inevitably find ourselves connecting again.
I found out not long ago... that he lost his battle with COPD and Cancer... just 5 days after his 40th Birthday.
It almost feels like becoming a widow over again... in a strange way.
He was the first man that ever truly made feel beautiful and wasn't jealous of my bisexual interests. He actually encouraged find women and .
Cowboy.... my first husband. My lover and friend... Fly with the Angels and I hope see you again!

Quarantine has really put the wrong kind of kink in my life.
I'm sure it has for you too... just when I decide it may be good to seriously meet some new friends.... STAY AT HOME or GET THE RONA!!!
*sigh*
I don't want it and I hope we find a solution soon. I'm working again, so that is a blessing overall... but that is also taking a risk 
Between irate people waiting in line to buy crap they don't need and overzealous panicky people over buying the few necessities... you would think I worked somewhere that provided essential supply. (I don't unless you consider fitness equipment, fishing tackle and athletic wear a necessity)
The sad part is I am so tired from being a Customer Service Cathy that I don't have any energy to get on camera for sexy fun times...
Hopefully this changes soon!!

How Long Has It Been- Short Story Intro

(Starting a story- feel free to comment ideas or even constructive criticism)
She stood in the distance as the sun set in shades of Rose and Gold all around her. The breeze blowing in off the Gulf simultaneously cooled and thrilled her as it caressed her skin. Impatiently she shifted from one foot to the other in the sand as she waited for him to return.
Lost in her memories, she thinks back to the last time she stood in the sands, in this spot watching the waves crash towards the shore. Regrets fill her and she wonders if their promise to return here will be kept. Should she have made him wait.... would he wait for her all this time?
They had stood in this very spot, planning everything yet to come. Nobody knew that a worldwide pandemic would keep them from forging ahead for so many years. As the minutes creep along, she wonders why she didn't give into the hormones back then... her mind focused on the fantasy of what might be.
He stood at the edge of the sand, the sight of her body silhouetted in the setting sun left him speechless. Her hair was windswept and messy as it billowed about her shoulders. She was lost in thought, he could tell she was almost mesmerized by the water and the tides. Shaking his head, he made his way across the sun warmed sands... eager to hold her in his arms and make up for lost time.
She is brought back to the present by the sound of someone approaching. She whirls around and grabs for the gun at her waist. These last years have not been kind and it isn't safe for a woman alone without a gun or other weapon. He sees her hand on the gun and instinctively shows both of his hands.
Her eyes narrow and then go wide with recognition as she lets go of her gun and begins to run towards him. She leaps into his arms and sends them crashing into the sands as her lips hungrily seek his own. Hands are everywhere, touching, caressing, squeezing and trying to remove every barrier between them.
The sudden change from golden sunset to nightfall on the beach makes them pause... "Why don't we go to the camp and get close to the fire?", she says softly as her voice shakes with sensations she doesn't quite understand yet.

It is good to be back on the website I first found 16 years ago with my then husband Cowboy.
While he and I parted ways, I have always returned to this place to seek friends with similar interests and open minds.
Be patient with me please as I find my way and hopefully find myself again.
The last few years were not kind, I've lost a lot and I am still recovering from the loss of a husband and having to start over again while living with family.
I will be posting short stories and amusing thoughts - please come in and leave love and light - or take some with you if you need it.
