I was thinking about writing a blog about what motivates me to be here and check back, but that's all too heavy for me at the moment and this is my first blog and I'd probably express myself badly. So this blog will be completely different

Thousands of us, or maybe hundreds of thousands of us have had no water or no heating or none of both over the Christmas.... pretty bloody freezing and then immediately a flood- on my road at least. In fact the road was flooded and we still didn't have running water, which was kind of mad.
Anyway when we are in these situations what can you do but make the most of it, do what you have to do... go and get water, get a good fire going, try to defrost the pipes (unsuccessfully) and get on with enjoying your Christmas.

New year's resolutions

I'm a planner and I thinker I guess, not that spontaneous - I know that. So now I'm thinking about what I might want to set out to do in the new year.
So far the first thing on my list is spreading my arse. My curiosity is definitely going to get the better of me befoe half of 2011 is over.

An elderly spinster who was a dog lover agreed to look after and house her neighbors dog while they went on their holidays. The only problem was that the spinsters own dog was a bitch that was 'in heat' and the neighbors dog was a male. Nevertheless she had a large house and she was able to keep the two dogs apart.
As she lay in her bed drifting off to sleep, the spinster was suddenly awakened by an awful howling and moaning sound from downstairs. She rushed downstairs to find the dogs locked together - mating. The dogs were in obvious pain howling but unable to disengage. Try as she might she could not part them and she was perplexed as what to do next.
Though it was late she reluctantly phoned the Vet, and after a few rings a rather grumpy voice of the Vet answered the phone. The spinster explained the problem.
The Vet said. "I want you to take the phone to the dogs and place it down alongside them. I will then phone your number back and the noise of the telephone ringing should make the male dog lose his erection and be able to withdraw from the bitch."
"Oh," said the spinster .... "Do you think that will work?"
"Well," the Vet replied, "IT JUST WORKED ON ME!"

Today I tried to execute on my idea for my artistic profile pic. I definitely wanted something unique and adventurous and I’d given a bit of thought to composition and setting. I didn’t originally plan on having a snow scene, but it’s been with us for a while now and I thought “use what’s available”.
So out I went to the snow, I set the timer on the camera, 10 seconds press the button and quickly put the camera on a small stool and got in to my pose double quick. The first one was useless, I was too close – it took me a while to figure out that this was the photo I’d just taken and I was present from start to finish.
Ok, a bit further away and repeat the same routine, 10 seconds, 9 put the camera down, 8 make sure it’s straight (still talking about the camera), 7 getting in to position takes till about 3, then hold 2, 1. Jump up and check the photo – crap again; still too close.
A bit further back again and repeat the process as above; result is better but still not right. I need a chair not a small stool need a different angle, have to tilt the camera a bit.
Anyway another three attempts in the snow and what I had to show for it was 6 photos that were no good. Lots of adjusting and hopping up and down in the cold, but the result wasn’t what I was hoping for. Although they could be described as unique, they didn’t really achieve the level artistry I’d hoped for, or to put it another way they were rubbish.
There is no doubt about it, it is much easier to have a person in the photograph and a different camera operator. I might have another attempt at my arty profile pic. But I do think I need a volunteer photographer.

Blogsville, blogland, blogsphere....

I do like to browse around and dip in to blogs here and there, some are complete flights of fantasy and can be enjoyed for that. Others are rightly described as musings of the day and the author shows different aspects of their personality and daily life through them; these in my opinion are much braver in general, showing themselves in reality that way.

Why I'm here

I found a group here called "Sex for the Intellectuals", it trikes me that we can over analyse and over intellectualise things too. While I have already formed the opinion that a lot of members are here for light relief or some kind of escape and while they may have an inner slut that breaks out now and then they are also probably holding down a normal job and have normal hobbies and are good to their mothers.
I'm probably just saying they are normal people that are looking for a bit of adventure, which perhaps describes my view on things and why I'm here. I would like an adventure and enjoy the thrills of seduction.
BTW I didn't mean to disrespect the "Sex for Intellectuals" just saying that it is probably not for me

Most of us men enjoy the fantasy of having sex with two women at the same time, this statement is based on my experience of conversations and observations made. This fantasy always worried me a little because I wasn’t totally convinced that I would be up to satisfying two women at once, certainly worried about being able to perform in rapidfire succession. In time my two woman fantasy had a new arrival on the scene = a strap on, I did realize that this was the back-up and would save my embarrassment. After a while the fantasy developed in another direction and the strap on was pointed in my direction. I think I’ve moved away from the two women fantasy again and it has become one woman, one strap on and me. I have asked my wife about a strap on joining us and explained that it’s for me, we did a little playing but she decided that she is not into it. So for now I have my fantasy to play in my head and see where it goes to next, I do think it is one that I want to make a reality at some point. Thanks for reading.
