Has anyone been Slab City CA? Thinking about taking a couple week unwind and maybe do some hiking. Looking for info the Slab city area or maybe death Vally are. Would love get some feed back from anyone thats been around either place.

Wow had a great hike on the PCT in Southern Oregon. We planned a 7 day easy hike and did it in 5 days. I am not one of those many miles a day hikers we were going to do 5-8 miles a day slow and easy. We did at least 8 a day though and didn't push. Spent alot of time camping and exploring.
Other than many blisters on my feet had a great time, already planning our next section for next year.

Ok so this weekend I start a 5 day hike on the PCT.
Last year I started doing small sections from the south to the north.
Have no idea how many years it will take me but I want to walk the
entire trail in Oregon.
I have been bad this year and have not done much in the way of preparing
so wish me luck in not getting to many blisters lol
