Hi, thanks for reading this post to learn more about me. I am a DWM living near York, Pa.
I love to travel around the country on my motorcycle. I have ridden in all 50 states. I had to rent a bike in Hawaii because they haven't built a bridge for me to get there on my own bike.
I am very active in two motorcycle clubs that take up a lot of my weekend time. My weekdays are not as busy because I am now retired after 31 years doing equipment maintenance.

I have been a paid member of passion for more than 10 years. When I first joined there were many benefits available to free members but I chose to be a paid member to get all the benefits.
passion has slowly eroded the benefits to both free and paid members to the point that I no longer feel it is worthwhile to be a member. Free members can no longer read or reply to messages from paid members. Free members can no longer read or reply to messages they sent or received while paying for membership. Free members can no longer read new responses to their blog posts. I did not mind paying for membership, but when passion won't let free members read the emails I sent as a paid member there is no point in being here any longer.
I have made many friends here over the years. I have met quite a few of them in person and communicate with them via personal email. Others I never met but still communicate with them on other social sites. I will miss the friends that I have no other way of contacting.
I will leave my profile open and will check back from time to time to see if passion realizes the error of it's penny pinching ways. If they do, I will be back as a paid member but only if they allow free members to read and reply to paid members emails.

I have been very lucky during this storm. I have power, internet connection, cable, and plenty of food. I have no reason to travel today.
Yesterday evening I looked out and saw that the wind had blown my motorcycle over. I went out and stood it up, then positioned my car to block the wind. This morning I went out during a lull in the storm to check it, it seems fine. I recovered it and moved my car again because the wind shifted directions.
I hope you are all doing OK during the storm.

Men's Room Humor

Yesterday I had dinner at a bar/restaurant with a Buccaneer theme. In the men's room there was a mural of a group of ladies looking at you and giggling as you stand in front of the urinal.
Whoever decorated had a good sense of humor, it gave me a good laugh.

I visited the ABS on 422 in Lebanon yesterday for the first time. I learned about if from a post in one of the groups I belong to. It is a very nice ABS with 2 comfortable theater rooms. The large room has a couple of sofas and many individual chairs and 4 screens.
There is also a private patio where I spent some time sunbathing nude. I enjoy being nude outdoors, even in a small enclosed area like this patio. I will definitely be going back to work on my tan. There were only a few other customers while I was there so I was alone on the patio, it would have been more fun if I had someone to talk to out there.
$10 gets you into the theater area and the patio.

We had some snow overnight and now it is freezing rain, so I am not going anywhere. Good time to catch up on my blog.
Last year was a great year and this year looks to be even better. I already have plans to attend 3 motorcycle rallies and I'll be riding to California twice to see my grandsons. Some of those trips will include a stop along the way to visit a special lady.
I have put on weight and gained a belly in the past few years. I have joined a gym and I am working hard to rid myself of the belly. I have been honest and posted a couple of photos that show the weight gain. Hopefully I'll post new photos in the near future after I trim down
I am open to making new friends so don't be shy about contacting me.

Cell Phone Distracted Driving

I recently had my first personal involvement with a driver who was distracted because she was using her cell phone. I was out shopping and stopped at the local supermarket. I was in the produce section looking for some fresh veggies when my cart was slammed into the produce bin. The lady who hit it was driving a motorized shopping cart and talking on her cell phone. She looked at me, said "sorry" and kept on driving and talking. I guess you have to be alert for distracted drivers even when you aren't out on the road.

I have just returned home after three weeks of traveling across our wonderful country.
I began by riding to the Cleveland area to spend Memorial Day weekend with a sexy lady who lives there. We had great weather for riding and it was a fun weekend.
Then I rode to California to spend some time with my grandsons, we had great fun together.
On the way home from California I stopped in North Carolina to hook up with some biker buddies from all over the country who gathered there for a few days. We spent the days riding the twisty scenic roads of the Tar Heel State, including the magnificent Blue Ridge Parkway. We spent the evenings reminiscing about our past adventures and planning new ones.
I arrived home Friday afternoon, it felt great to sleep in my own bed that night. Saturday morning I was up bright and early to go have breakfast with my local biker buds. Now I am home for a few weeks until my next trip, which will be up to Canada.

This area received the heaviest snowfall in many years last night and this morning. I hope everyone was safe and warm during the storm. Yesterday I made a big pot of chili to enjoy while snowed in.
I measured 18 inches at 8 a.m. and it snowed until 1 p.m. so I'm sure we got over 20 inches here. I spent a couple of hours clearing snow off of and around my vehichles. My iPod made the task pleasant and I needed the exercise. I'll go out later and clear what fell since my first clearing effort, then I'll have some of that hot chili and a cold Yuengling.

A New Year's Eve to Remember

My FWB and I had a wonderful time at the New Year's Eve party at DJ's Island, a swinger's club near Pittsburgh. Everyone was dressed nicely for the party which made it feel really special. Dinner was fillet mignon and lobster tail, yummy! DJ's is a B.Y.O.B. club and we had brought the lady's favorite white wine along to enjoy with our meal.
