In support of Paula Dean, YES I a have used the word NIGGER, NOT THE N WORD as is so popular to call in now. YES, I am WHITE, born in the 60's and it was not uncommon to say back THEN. But since I have grown as a person, and as a man, I learned to HATE that word. I hear it in , Black COMEDY and it just KILLS me to hear it. Do I use that term anymore? NO!!!!!!!
It makes me mad to hear it out of any ones mouth. Even black comedians How can you say WE LEARNED TO OWN a term like that? That to me is saying that you OWN being called a a term that is racist, as long as the speaker of it is not black. Forbidden on most all of television and other forms of public entertainment, at times referenced to as the "n-word". However, "cracker", a term racist against whites, is a completely acceptable term used in any context of any national broadcast...hmm...
YES I am A WHITE Man that HATES the word Nigger. If I can not use it,
NEITHER CAN YOU.

My Memorial Day HERO Rant Bear with me here

OK Did I just see that or was I wrong? Did my local news just spend MORE time covering the Mass for Fallen Firefighters held today than they did about Memorial Day Services held for FALLEN MILITARY MEMBERS?
YES THEY DID.
ON A DAY TO HONOR OUR MILITARY.
NOT our Public servants.
This is a DISGRACE. Being a Cop, Firefighter, or an EMS does NOT make you a HERO. HEROIC ACTIONS make you a HERO.
The word Hero has been DILUTED to the point of a job description in the news. How does being a Cop, Firefighter, or EMS, make you a hero? What did you do to BE A HERO? What was HEROIC about your day?
And NO not all military members are hero's. They reserve that for the Decorated and members who have EARNED that distinction.
I served, I am NO HERO. Not many are. They are a RARE bread. And no job MAKES one a Hero.
A HERO is one who does something Heroic. And it is not done for glory or honor.
IT IS DONE BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE.
Sorry about my rant. I just have been getting more and more upset with how the term Hero has been thrown around so often now that it is almost NOT an Honor to say someone is a Hero.
We Honor the Dead. We Praise the Brave.
But we Decorate The Hero's.

passion and the single man

Good Evening Everyone,
I have been on passion on and off for several years and I have learned quite a few things. There are people out there that find this site their life, there are those that are here simply for entrainment with no intention of ever meeting anyone, there are the fake profiles, and finally there are the single guys. Single guys, now there is a group you don't want to be classified in! I like to think of myself as a fairly intelligent individual and very capable of following instructions most of the time. However, I am beginning to think I am the exception not the rule, and by no means do I mean that in an arrogant way. Although I am on passion everyday most weeks it is not my life, but I do enjoy looking at profiles of all kinds, and there is one line I see in profiles more then any other, "NO SINGLE MEN", in some way shape or form. So I have some stuff I want to say to all the other single guys. passion is not a perfect site, no site is, but they have this great little feature that says what, couples, women, and even other men are looking for. If you are looking at a profile and there is an "X" in the gender box, they are not looking for you, novel concept isn't it? Look, I am not the smartest person in the world, although I am very intelligent, I don't think its that hard to understand. If a profile says that they don't way single men, wait for it, they don't want single men!! How frigging hard is that to understand??? I hate to be the one to break this to you, but they are not looking for you no matter what you think. It doesn't matter how well you are built, how good you think you are in bed, or how great you think you are they are not looking for you!! I really don't get it, men will email a couple who are NOT looking for me and say really dumb sh*t like, I can change your mind, or you never had a guy like me, at what point do those lines actually work? If couples, women, or for that matter other men, what you I am sure they can seek you out with a search. If at any point you email someone and they don't respond then as hard as this maybe for you to believe, they are not interested in you so there in no need to email them over and over and over again. Then when they still don't email you back there is really no need to email them berating them for not wanting you!!! Get over yourself, you really are not gods gift to anything!!!! I guess my message here is respect other peoples wishes and other singles guys that have one to four brain cells please stop making the rest of us look bad!!!

YES I LOVE the heat. Winter is the time of year where I can NOT ride, well, not comfortably. But in the summer, my truck sits and I have to start it once a week just to make sure it will start if I need to drive it due to bad weather.
NOW all I need is a sexy fun lady to enjoy the ride with.
Any takers?

I have decided I want MORE than just random hook-ups and sex. I am looking for more. YES I want to find THE ONE. And from this site I have not had that SPARK. I see guys at work often looking at their watch, just wishing their lives away. I also know some who fought brilliant struggles for their lives, and others who took their lives- what contradictions there are in humanity.
This kind of hit me in a strange way. My response way

See, almost 5 years ago I lost my brother. he took his own life. It changed me in many ways that will be with me forever. I am NOT the same person I was before I got the news he was gone. My life, as I see it, is just not the same. Good, bad or ugly, it is what it is. People like to think that since they NEVER thought about taking their own life, they lie. Just like asking a person on here if they ever masturbate to people on cam here. We all have out past, our demons, and our baggage. We are who we are.
YES a part of me is LOST FOREVER My little brother, who I LOVED and STILL Love is gone, he lives with me just as much as if he was right beside me.
The last words he said to me were
I LOVE YOU BROTHER
I said
I LOVE YOU TOO
To my brother
YOU ARE MORE A PART OF ME THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW, AND YES, I HATE YOU THAT ARE NOT HERE, BUT I STILL LOVE YOU LIKE YOU WERE
