The weekend is almost over. And I have been thinking a nice brunch would be fun. I enjoy the preparation, the chat as we work. Or if she prefers, I am more than happy to prepare and serve her. Are you in the mood for a brunch? Have you ever made a brunch? If offered a brunch would you accept?

I was looking through some of the TV and newspaper advertisements from long, long ago. Almost ancient history to some, and nostalgic to others. I would be curious what would happen if they were shown today? I bet it would make a bunch of "goody two shoes" apoplectic with the political in correctness  . Are "we" too sensitive today? As I remember many of these advertisements, there was no apparent bias or rudeness, it was just the way things were back then. What do you think? Do you have any advertisements that you would like to share? Or,,, I am I just being to old fashioned in my views?

In my previous post ,, A quick update, I subjected you to some whining about my health. Well, I am here to tell you I am all better!! I went to specialists, I was probed, groped, tested ,to no immediate avail. I was waiting most of the day yesterday to get some test results and relief from the pain. I woke up about 1am today in excruciating pain, and had to go to a local Emergency Room. And within 2 hours, they found the source of my pain , did a small procedure and I am totally back to normal! The problem was a small subcutaneous boil that was impinging a nerve. They drained it and bingo, no pain and walking normal again. I just have to take it easy for a day or so to make sure there are no infections . While I am so grateful to that medical staff, you can bet in the next day or so, there are a couple of "Specialists" that are going to get a "verbal ass kicking" for their incompetence . It seems they get fixated on their "specialty" and are ignoring other, less "exotic" causes. So now you ladies better watch out, I am back

This is a subject that I planned on posting for sometime. Hopefully this is the closest to a rant you will ever hear from me . Most of you know that I am a 30 year member of the military (retired). What absolutely , positively frosts my butt, and makes me angry is people that falsely claim military service, and awards for heroism that they never earned and besmirch the honor and credibility of people that have served. There is actually a law here that forbids this type of activity. And no,, it is not a freedom of speech issue. Here are pictures of folks that have been caught , 'stealing valor" . I am an advocate of public humiliation for this type of person when they are discovered. Please comment if you would like.

The law amends the federal criminal code to make it a crime for a person to fraudulently claim having received any of a series of particular military decorations with the intention of obtaining money, property, or other tangible benefit from convincing someone that he or she rightfully did receive that award. This law is a revised version of a previous one that was struck down by the Supreme Court of the United States in the case United States v. Alvarez for being an infringement of the constitutional right to freedom of speech.

You may have noticed that the last few days , I have been slow posting to your comments. Other than taking care of my Godsons, I have hit a bit of a snag. Some how, I have developed severe pain in both hips and pain in the lower back. I do have an existing wound to my right hip, but I have maintained "jogging" mobility over the years. Over the last few days, the pain had gotten to the point that walking unaided was difficult. I went to a Doctor today and he thinks it is an inflammation from an unknown source. I am doing the MRIs etc tomorrow to see what is going on. So ladies ,if you can out shuffle an old man using a walker you are safe. I will be doing my best to catch up. And if I get grumpy, please forgive me and chew me out

Is the undressing of or by your partner part of your foreplay? I have always found it fun and sexy to either undress erotically for her (well, I do the best with what I have ). And of course conversely she is such a naughty tease . Is it a form of fantasy play , that you keep private? Or do you think that undressing should be done in private? Please share your ideas and experiences.

I am going to start with this confession. I know absolutely nothing about the choices of, or application of makeup. There , I feel better with that confession. Following on from my post yesterday ( sort of ). I have seen some examples real life and a lot of them online of make up fails. As a guy, with a self confessed ignorance, I ask, are these mistakes? Deliberate choices, or fads? Or as an alternative, am I missing some sort of fashion rage? I have chosen some extreme examples, just to illustrate . Ladies , please help me to understand. Over the years , I have noticed that some guys have a need to project a Macho image (or at least try ). Maybe it is the latent caveman? I have seen some spectacular "fails" in this endeavor. I always marvel, that folks just do not accept themselves for who they are (male and female). Guys, have you ever done anything to make yourself seem to be more macho. Don't worry, I will not share your secret. Ladies and gentleman , what is the strangest attempt at being macho have you seen or experienced? Tomorrow, I will try a similar post for the ladies

+++ Padrinos day with the guys

Well, today is the first day of Easter break for the Godsons. Guess who is going to be partying with them? Yup me,, Padrino (Godfather). I have been helping care for them since their Grand mother passed away 3 years ago, while their Mom and Dad work, usually before and after school. So, all day long (well today probably half day today) I get to party with the guys (9 and 13). They are good boys , brought up well. But, I do tend to spoil and indulge them abit. So , for a little bit today and most of next week, we will be watching cartoons, video games . eating snacks and doing "guy" stuff . Their Mom knows and just scowls and leaves us alone. Then of course the regular chores and reading time. Frankly I enjoy my time with the guys immensely, it is time that I did not always have with my kids because of my career and regret that. Do you have a chance to hang out with kids? You that are parents with kids at home, my appreciation for you. Aaah yes, grand children, you that have them are so lucky. Children are such a light in our lives

I am going to start some cooking and baking to prepare for Easter. I do enjoy being in the kitchen. It is a way to be expressive and creative. I must admit though, I have a lady friend coming over to help. I do get distracted easy, so I am not so sure how much we will be getting done. Do you have any pre Easter cooking or baking projects? When you are in the kitchen, do you enjoy working alone? Or does company make it a more enjoyable experience for you?
