I am feeling in a light mood lately . After regaling you with Maxines words yesterday Sharing of wisdom on Friday, I thought that the Minions could also help us . The satirists that create these characters do society a favor. They allow us to laugh at corn ball humor, and escape the day to day drudge for a little while. Do you have something similar that you enjoy? You know, this could be much worse, I could be sharing my philosophy on life

I don't usually post twice in one day, but I had to today. Today will be the first day of Spring here in New Jersey. Yesterday was almost 50 f , today is in the 30'sF, tomorrow will be in the 50'sF. And it is SNOWING!!!!!! today!!!! It took me an hour and a half getting to and from my God sons school, normally a 30 minute round trip. We have almost 5 inches of snow on the ground and still snowing. Tomorrow it should be all gone by noon time. Welcome to spring time in New Jersey

There is a cartoon character that I enjoy reading . Her name is Maxine. She has a pithy sense of humor. In my opinion she strikes right to the point on most subjects. She is not politically correct by any stretch of the imagination. I am going to share some of her humor. I hope she gives you a chuckle. Please let me know if you enjoy , or if do you think her humor is too edgy?

Well, it seems that the Spring Break time is on us. I, like many of us will not be going away for Spring Break, and in fact since I am not attending school, probably I shouldn't  . My point here is, take a break, relax for a bit and get recharged . Maybe have an adult beverage or two (consumed responsibly of course). Some time on the beach. Or do you have a different idea of what you would like to do to recharge after a long winter ? Below are some ideas I have, please share yours.

I found this series of GIFs (I hope they all show properly). They depict a seduction by a lady of her partner. It did bring to mind some exciting times with a FW . Is this something you would enjoy with your partner? I think, it is a sharing of the lead. Have you had the opportunity to torment (in the best way ) your partner this type of way? I have always thought of this as foreplay, which I do enjoy much more then "getting right at it". Please share any experiences this way , that you want.

It is St Patrick's day. Time for the obligatory "Green Post". Do you celebrate the day? In my younger days , I did, rather vigorously . Now It is a much more sedate day. Wearing something green and possibly a green beer  amp; (I dislike contaminated beer, but what the heck it is one time a year). Do you celebrate St Patties Day? If you do, how do you celebrate? I think the best I did was in Savannah Georgia many years ago, what a party it was, well what I can remember was a great party

I was having a discussion with several friends . English is not their primary language, it is Spanish. We were teasing each other, since I was speaking Spanish (my grammar is horrid) and they English. It came to mind, that English is a very difficult language to learn. The grammar and usage rules , to a non native speaker can seem so arbitrary. My question to the non native English speakers, do you / did you find it difficult to learn English? And the various usages of English in various countries can be confusing Others that have learned to speak another language, have you run into problems learning that language? If you have, did it deter you? I sort of speak, English, Spanish, Thai, Laotian, Vietnamese, and Urdu. None perfect, but at least at a verbal communication level. What languages do you speak? For fun, here are some examples of the American English difficult usages. Please add any that strike you also
1.) The bandage was wound around the wound.
2) The farm was used to produce produce.
3) The dump was so full that it had to refuse more refuse.
4) We must polish the Polish furniture.
5) He could lead if he would get the lead out.
6) The soldier decided to desert his dessert in the desert.
7) Since there is no time like the present, he thought it was time to present the present.
 A bass was painted on the head of the bass drum.
9) When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes.
10) I did not object to the object.

I have seen several discussion about one or the other. But I was thinking , is there a preference? Ladies what if either is your choice to share with / give him? Guys do you have a preference? Or are you like I am, I enjoy either as part of our playtime? If you have a preference, or a dislike, please share why.

Have you ever had the reason to wonder about advice being given to you by an alleged "expert"? Please read this and see the remainder of my comments at the end.
Woman:
Do you drink beer?
Man: Yes
Woman:
How many beers a day?
Man:
Usually about 3
Woman:
How much do you pay per beer?
Man: $5.00 which includes a tip
(This is where it gets scary !)
Woman:
And how long have you been drinking?
Man:
About 20 years, I suppose
Woman:
So a beer costs $5 and you have 3 beers a day which puts your spending each month at $450. In one year, it would be approximately $5400 correct?

Correct
Woman:
If in 1 year you spend $5400, not accounting for inflation, the past
20 years puts your spending at $108,000, correct?

Do you know that if you didn't drink so much beer, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting

I learned years ago that many "experts" really have no experience, they are just puking out what they have read in a book written by another "expert". This really rang true to me during the recent economic down turn. Close friends of mine, at the beginnings of the problems went to "experts" for advice. Both they and the "experts " lost substantial assets. My strategy actually kept me with no loses, no great gains, but no loses. What are your experiences with "experts", have they been good, bad or indifferent?

It is Friday the 13th. I seldom make anything of it , it is only another day to me. Does Friday the 13th mean anything to you? Are you superstitious ? I actually did not make the connection until it was mentioned on the news today. Do you have a Friday ritual, preparing you for the weekend? Do you have a favorite day of the week? If so which is it?

It is Thursday here. Todays lesson on "Pals blog" will be one on anatomy appreciation. We shall start with the "Buttocks, Legs and Feet". after all these are our foundations. I for one ,am an admirer of these specific parts of the female form. Do you have a specific aspect that you appreciate? This is of course a question for all. Please share your thoughts, like and dislikes.

Can you believe it? I saw the sort of green grass in the yard yesterday!!! The snow and ice is melting. The temperatures will be almost 60f today! I bet that if I had farm animals, they would be cavorting in the yard. I usually enjoy winter, but the last month has been relentlessly cold (by our standards anyway). It should not be long until the flowers come out and we can start the veggie gardens. But alas, by August, you will be you will be hearing me whining about the heat . How is it where you are? Is winter over? Or since we have international bloggers, how is your weather now? Here are some of the things I am looking forward to seeing and doing as the weather warms.
