It is time get things back together. Things are loosening a lot around here. I am going start shaving daily again, this every 3rd or 4th day regime I am now is frankly a bit scruffy. My opinion is that a guy should be either shaven or bearded. Certainly not the unkempt scruff I descended . It will improve my attitude a great deal and hopefully pump hers . Maybe after I get "in line" she will get back assisting ! And one of the first things I am going get today is either a haircut or an appointment for one. I am an every two weeks hair cut guy and this current duration of 3 plus months is the shaggiest I have been in my life. Have you been able to maintain your appearances during this drama? Do you have any secrets you can share. Are the guys able to keep things orderly?

Tis the day, Saint Patrick's day  . It seems to have become quite fun over the years . It has also been noted as "Feast of St. Patrick." A lovely excuse to relax and celebrate with your friends, no matter you ethnicity . "St. Patrick’s Day kicks off a worldwide celebration also known as the Feast of St. Patrick. On March 17th, many will wear green in honor of the Irish and decorate with shamrocks. According to lore, the wearing of the green tradition dates back to a story written about St. Patrick in 1726. St. Patrick (c. AD 385–461) used the shamrock to illustrate the Holy Trinity and worn green clothing. And while the story is unlikely to be true, many will revel in the Irish heritage and eat traditional Irish fare, too. ". There are a variety of things to do. My favorite has always been to consume beer with friends and when possible corn beef and cabbage meals. This year I will probably by pass activities. How about you? Active or dormant like me? I saw a young lady going into a gym that brought this subject to mind. I think she is a body builder . I do admire the obvious commitment she has brought to her quest and I certainly am not trying to disparage what she is doing. I am just wondering about the practicalities of working to "bulk" ones body / muscle mass to what many may think as excessive. I know for a fact that I had several male "body builders" in my military units over the years. And to put it bluntly, they were useless when it came to mobility and flexibility needed in field conditions. Is that the same for all body builders? I can not say, that was just an observation. I want to emphasis, I am not trying to be negative towards their choices, it is something that I could never accomplish myself . My question (s) to you,, Is this body "shape" attractive to you (be it male or female)? Have you tried to "be that way"? Do you admire their commitment to this life style? Add anything that you like to this conversation

Good talk radio was fun yesterday. The subject was the "old time" TV shows [the boob tube] and movies. What a flash back it was to me. Growing up with the Black and white TV, having only 3 channels to watch. I grew up on a farm, and the TV was put in a closet for the summer and brought back out for the fall and winter time. And cable was for building stuff, not for bringing in TV shows. Most of my favorites from the old days was cowboy and action movies. The cartoons were so simple and fun. It seemed that good guy and bad guy action was pretty plain to all. Do you have any programs from when you are a kid that you remember and like? I do admit to currently watching the retro programs as they are shown on TV now . Maybe we were lucky to have "simple TV" as kids Do you have favorites from back then?

I was reminded yesterday a friend that tomorrow is a men care day at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in town. It is not too exotic, it is a place that wives can dump the "old man" while they go shopping. I think it $10 guy. The guys get all the pizza they can eat. Some beer, nasty old military style coffee and comfortable seats, sports on wide screen TVs. And best of all new people to tell lies to and have a great laugh. , All the old gals in my neighborhood are sending their husbands and me to it. They are done shopping, but it will get peace and quiet for the day for them . Do you have anything like this in your community? If there was or is one would you use it? Would there be a good idea for one for the ladies to give the guys a break? If so what would it be like?

It is just one of those mornings. The old brain housing group is just a flutter with "stuff", mostly Thoughtful, Random or Sexy . Although that can be considered a "Subject" for this post , I prefer to think of today as a "whatever" post. Lets just share whatever comes to mind. As person who was around before the internet I really enjoy some of the things that are possible or that occur because of it. Of course, there are a lot of downsides to it also. It does make it possible for folks to be less than truthful. Our methods of communication have drastically changed also. What are your perceptions of how the internet has changed things? Please share any good, funny or bad things about the "net". Hopefully we can give each other a chuckle on this Day before the weekend

I don't think I have ever asked these types of questions in my blog before. I am 100% male and I do confess that women's breasts are fascinating to me. I have always wondered, don't bras hurt, or become uncomfortable over the course of a day? Is there a time you want to give the "girls" (this term used with no disrespect intended) a break and go braless? Does going braless cause discomfort? Have you ever had any complaints if you have? the power that I have assumed, I here suspend all of the bad stuff contained in bacon for today. I mean pork bacon, not that "wannabe" turkey stuff. Today, this is a quilt free zone, you can do, or admit anything bacon related! Do you like bacon? The flavor, the smell, the taste? And one very critical question ,,, soft or hard (the bacon of course)? Do you have a favorite "style" of bacon? In my extensive research, I have noticed that many countries have their own "style / cut of bacon. So lets celebrate bacon!!! One of life's guilty pleasures

I have made fun of a lot of different people, and I think it is now time the members of the Law Enforcement community be included. As background, my military career was involved with Police work for the military and evolved over the years. So nothing I am posting is intended to be denigrating. No matter who we are, I think we need to have a sense of humor about ourselves. Please share anything you would like.
A French policeman stops the Englishman's car and asks if he has been drinking.
With great difficulty, the Englishman admits that he has been drinking all day, that his daughter got married that morning, and that he drank champagne and a few bottles of wine at the reception, and many single malt scotches thereafter.
Quite upset, the policeman proceeds to alcohol-test (breath test) the Englishman and verifies that he is indeed totally sloshed.
He asks the Englishman if he knows why, under French Law, he is going to be arrested.
The Englishman answers with a bit of humour, "No sir, I do not! But while we're asking questions, do you realize that this is a British car and that my wife is driving…on the other side?"

Yes, it is pancake day! Can a real breakfast happen without them? And as a secondary one also . I favor them a bit fluffy, but will not say no to any style. Making them is so much fun. Get a big stack together and have every one pile in. No limit tp the number of things to put on them. It is almost unlimited, maple syrup, berry sauces, you name it. Do you have a favorite? For that matter do you enjoy pancakes? Below will be some facts about them.
This food holiday’s humble beginnings date back to 2005. Originally the observance started as Lumberjack Day. Marianne Ways and Collen AF Venable sought an excuse to eat pancakes and waffles with friends. Since it was one week after “Talk Like a Pirate Day” and that theme had been worn out, eating lots of pancakes like a lumberjack seemed a better holiday than ever.
