your beauty is etched
in the darkness
the deep recesses of my mind

at least not in body
I can see the beauty

a bead of sweat

Lovely lady,
sweet and demure,
handsome man,
gruff and secure.
Together a couple,
are one and alive,
apart a shamble,
unable to survive.
The sweet, the demure,
the gruff, the secure,
if two are to be one,
then they will need a cure.
Be kind, be faithful,
be true, be a friend,
hold each other closely,
and the love will never end.

To a special friend.
Before me the beautiful green eye of an enchanting woman,
I'm sure the other eye is just as beautiful,
The lashes are lush.
I see kindness and compassion,
I see passion and caring,
I see a woman deserving to be loved and not judged,
I see a woman deserving to be held and not crushed,
I see the window to a heart that is immense,
I see a woman deserving the best a man has to offer.

the force is so great
The tree is bending,
still graceful its moves.
The wind with its might,
the tree with its fight,
one is exhausted,
the other stands tall.
Life's wind blows,
and tries to make us break.
We are the tree!!

The price one will pay to find their one true love.
Finding a new love,
It's dangerous to some,
It will blind you so
Like staring into the sun.
You were warned as a child,
don't stare at the light,
you'll go blind as a bat
and will live with this blight.
This love you want so badly,
you just have to understand,
that you risk taking on the blindness
for a glimpse of what's at hand.

Love is a strange emotion, one that you have no control over. It lives in your heart and rules all that you do. Although I don't have someone here beside me at the moment to say this too, one day she will be there at my side, to hear these words from the heart in person. For now, the words in this post is all I have to offer.

It’s something we all need when we have no hope
A gracious gesture coming from the heart and nowhere else
It’s something only a true friend can give when you need it most
No questions asked, just believing your word, your thoughts your dreams
We can grow like no others have done before us
By just being ourselves and living by its warmth
The glow that it gives you
The way it makes you smile
The way to begin
The way to continue on forever
To find it is rare, to keep it is divine,
Only so few can be gifted to posses its essence
For it is Trust

Tonight I heard a voice,
It’s sound was like an angel,
It touched my heart
The voice laughed,
It made me smile,
It made feel warm inside.
Oh, was I nervous,
Not knowing what to expect,
Within seconds there was this feeling,
A calm and loving one.
The colors were vibrant,
The vibrations were soothing,
The picture playing in my mind
Was one of joy,
The nervousness was gone
In a flash, I felt at ease,
This voice, This voice
I look forward to hearing it again.

There comes a time in one’s life,
When you must release what’s been locked away
The heart that’s been trapped behind a cage
Locked away with bars made of fear.
There was always hope that it would someday
Be released by a kindred soul, by the rarest of women
No longer held captive by a world of hurt
Finally able to show its full potential.
To love like it has always wanted
To shead the tears of happiness
To melt from the warmth of a angel
To swell with the outflow of emotion.
The key that unlocked the cage
Was forever lost, but now found.
Yet the cage door is held ajar,
Just waiting to be eased open from afar.

This is a poem that came to mind and flowed from the heart while looking out my back door.
Pinks and blues
A hint of lavender too.
The sunset so brilliant,
The universe showing off.
The colors oh so vivid,
The lighting so serene.
The hopes of a hidden sky maiden,
For all the world to see.
Alas its getting dimmer,
The colors start to fade.
Darkness is taking over,
To let the maiden sleep.
The stars are a faint glimmer,
They're waking to all their glory.
The brilliance is shining
Like a thousand glowing embers.
The night has come on its journey,
A lonely moon to show the way.
The quietness of the maiden,
Makes all your troubles fade away.
Troubles that will never wake again.
