there is a song by a country singer .....Aaron Tippon,,,the title is "A Door"
Can't raise the ceiling, can't lower the floor. the only thing to do is to build a door,,,,, A door aint nothing but a way to get thru a WALL, that all, a window wont work and ladder streatch that tall , by far.,,,you get a hammer and I'll get a saw and will give this WALL what for ...what we need between you and me is a door...might get sweaty might get dirty a couple of splinter will be well worth it hang it right here level and plump we'll shake hands on a job well done...once that doors standing open ,.get some comunication going
you'll reach out and next thing you know this WALL will come down like Jericho.........
Many of us hide behind veryyyy tall thick walls, or wear a mask to hide what is really inside us or who we really are, or to protect ourselves from being hurt ......
Thats about all we can do in this life is build many many little doors to reach out to the people who need us and hope and pray that they reach back thru to help us when in need too....
There are many people in this world that want to do nothing but hurt others and those are the ones we build walls up against but then there are those who truley care and we are afraid to let them in for fear of being hurt....
Slowly we need to chip away at these fears......and let those who truley care help and love us and we do the same in turn...........
