Many of my blogs are based on personal experiences. I often make my own situations or conversations into questions seeking opinions about what others would have done in the same circumstance.
There have also been times I have posted certain things knowing a particular person, or people were reading because I knew it was something they’d like to see (aaah...my days of exhibitionism).
There have been occasions that I wanted to blog about something, but refrained since I knew the person involved in the subject matter would be reading and I didn’t want to hurt his feelings or embarrass him since others knew we were seeing each other.
How do you come up with your subject matter?

Just hit the 12 year mark here and see quite a few people I've seen for the entire time I've been here...some I've met, chatted with, hooked up with or just notice they were here too. Wonder how they still find themselves on A FF after all these years and they probably wonder the same about me. Demise of A F F Chatrooms?

For many years (@10) I was an active chatter in local groups and chatrooms. I made close friends of all kinds. Some for romantic or sexual purposes, others just to share opinions and thoughts with and my everyday life. We had online relationships as well as saw each other in person on a regular basis. As the people closer to my age and location slowly moved on I frequented the rooms less and less. I now occasionally check in and no one is there. Where there used to be 20-50 people chatting anytime of day or night, there is barely a few.
I was wondering if this was the same elsewhere, in other locations. Has the membership changed so much that no one is here to communicate (including fun sexual banter)? Is the fact that now most are on their phones and not using a computer changed our online activities?
I never thought I'd get over the addiction of compulsive chatting here...many hours a day. Hours of fun. But, I did, and apparently most everyone else did too.

Wrote the blog post Celebrating the 4th 8 years ago and it now seems like a distant memory.
One can never predict the changes that will take place in our lives. I have many things to be grateful for these days...but am sure missing the carefree excitement I had not that long ago.

As I wrote a few months ago, I've been here over 11 years. Unlike some, I've never even taken a break and then came back for more.
I know from faces (and other body parts) I've seen here on almost a daily basis, there are quite a few that have been here many years too.
So to satisfy my curiousity, how about telling me how long you've been here. This includes those of you who are here just lurking (profiles off). If you want to elaborate on your time here I'd be happy to read that too. But, no negativity please. I'm well aware there are a lot of deficiencies on this site. However, it obviously serves a purpose for each of us...and...well....nothing is perfect!

One of the mildest, virtually snow free winters we've ever had in this area, but the lack of sunshine tends to bring me down.
Now that we can surely say winter's behind us and spring has sprung, my spirits are lifted.
