Cock Block

A cock block is a situation when somebody does or says things which prevents two other people, typically a male and a female that is, from talking, getting acquainted, hooking up, and ultimately having some sex for themselves. Cock blocks often happen in real-life social settings such as in bars and in nightclubs, but they can happen in the virtual world too, such as here on this site in chat rooms, or social networking sites, etc. The most common motive for the cock block is jealousy. Other motives for a cock block can play a factor too, such as a feeling of over-protectiveness on behalf of a friend, for example.

In your own experience, who would you say does the most cock blocks, and against whom do they do it?
I would say that women cock block other women the most.
I would say that women cock block other men the most.
I would say that men cock block other men the most.
I would say that men cock block other women the most.

So, there I was at the urinal of the men's toilets, looking down at myself as I was letting loose, when I imagined what it would have been like if I had ever said the following to a woman:

"If I manage to "break" your pussy with my cock tonight, will you hate me for that tomorrow?"

There's a certain song you can keep listening to in your mind, but you have no idea what the title of the song is, the artist or group that performed it, or where you first heard this song because it was such a long time ago.

Don't you hate that?

Is manmade "climate change" or "global warming" real?

Most of the USA and other parts of the world is going through a cold spell right now, even regions which are not really known for cool climates. This has made me wonder how this can really be possible, since this latest turn of events has been preceded by years and years of talk about "greenhouse gases," "global warming," and "climate change."

That's why I devised this poll as follows:
I believe that manmade global warming is still a real problem.
I believe that manmade global warming might be a cause for concern.
I am not really sure what to think regarding manmade global warming now.
I believe that manmade global warming is a total hoax that was made up by certain people so that they can enrich themselves.
What's all this manmade global warming talk about? I'm freezing over here and only care about staying warm!

Sex and a weakened economy

With the economy being rather weak now in so many areas, how has this affected your sex life?

(Feel free to describe your overall situations with comments below.)
The weak economy seems to have had a positive effect on my sex life.
The weak economy has actually been great for my sex life.
The weak economy seems to have had an adverse effect on my sex life.
The weak economy has actually killed off my sex life entirely.
The weak economy has not really had any effect on my sex life at all.
The economy is weak now? This is news to me.
What's this economy thing anyway?

The Sullivan Act

New York State has a gun and weapon control law called called “The Sullivan Act”. This law dates back to the early days of the 20th century, (circa 1911, I think) when extremely corrupt Democrats had the entire run of both New York City and New York State from their power base at Tammany Hall in Manhattan.

The Sullivan Act, so named for its politician sponsor, originally required licenses for New Yorkers to possess firearms small enough to be concealed. Possession of such firearms without a license was a misdemeanor, carrying them was a felony. The possession or carrying of weapons such as brass knuckles, sandbags, blackjacks, bludgeons, or bombs was a felony, as was possessing or carrying a dagger, “dangerous knife” or razor “with intent to use the same unlawfully”.

Someday, and hopefully too I might add, “The Sullivan Act” may be ruled unconstitutional - it seems to benefit only the rich and politically-connected as it often gets applied nowadays, because only people such as this ever get permits to carry firearms in New York City. (Some examples of such people are Chuck Schumer, Donald Trump, and Howard Stern.)

I have a little story about my own experience with the Sullivan Act, so read on.

The Sullivan Act was what an undercover cop on patrol in Queens cited as his authority to arrest me on a felony charge last Memorial Day. My crime? I was carrying a jackknife with a three-inch blade on my key chain while walking along a city street. This cop did not arrest me however, because what I believe he was actually trying to achieve was to make a friend of mine who was with me at the time stop being so belligerent towards him and his partner. (We were were stopped by him and his partner on the street. They said we were a close match to a description of two suspects they were seeking for an investigation, but my friend soon then started screaming at them about filing a civil rights complaint and/or lawsuit.) My guess is that this cop only made his threat to arrest me so as to apply leverage against my friend. After I finally convinced my friend to quiet down, the cop then advised me to keep my jackknife inside my cargo shorts pocket for the rest of the time that I would be out on the street that day, to which I readily complied. Then both the cop and and his partner got back into their unmarked vehicle and sped away.

Looking back on this experience, I would guess that even this New York City cop did not feel all that much in favor of the Sullivan Act when it comes to small jackknives. It also makes me wonder if New York City has ever issued a permit for carrying a small jackknife to some rich and politically-connected person.

Whoopty-frickin-doo!

passion/Passion profiles can be located through google searches. I've known this for years. I've done this type of google search myself, actually, just for the purposes of experimentation.

My reaction to this fact - whoopty-frickin-doo!

If some non-member of passion/Passion were to do a google search on some member's handle, the link to that member's page would show up, sure, but it might not even show up as the first, second, third, or even tenth search result. (Mine doesn't; it shows up somewhere after about five or six pages of results.) It all depends on the type of handle name in question, basically. Even if and when some non-member of passion/Passion finds a member's profile through a google search, this is what shows up in lieu of the profile picture:

Only members can view photos.
Click here to become a member.

The "click here" link leads to a registration page. Only by registering and then paying for a membership would enable someone to see the full-frame passion/Passion profile picture. It's not like someone could just randomly stumble upon it through some sort of haphazard web-surfing.

Furthermore, if one wisely chooses the type of picture to place as one's main profile picture, that is to say, something other than a mugshot-type picture, this would only further ensure one's anonymity from random web-surfers on passion/Passion.

I've had an passion profile with pictures for over eight years now. My face pictures are on my profile, but they are never used as my main profile picture for the reason I outlined above. I am acquainted with countless numbers of people all over the place in my professional and social life, and after all these years, nobody has ever yet said to me something like, "Hey, I think I saw your profile on some raunchy swinger/sex site. I could tell it was you from that picture of your cock!"

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

I only found out last year that I am more Irish than I previously ever thought. My maternal grandmother's ancestors all originated from Eire, so I've discovered.

So, if you ladies don't have any Irish in you, I'd be more than happy to offer you some of mine! >>!

Language Barrier

Last Sunday, I was out in a public place when I saw a cellphone/cell/mobile/wireless handset just lying on the ground where someone had likely dropped it. I then quickly picked it up and noticed that it was considerably damaged.

This handset was of the flip-open or clamshell design. Despite its hinge mechanism being a bit broken, I was still able to open it, but then I noticed that the display screen would not illuminate whatsoever. Yet I could still tell that this handset was powered on, because the keypad was still giving off a slight greenish glow. I could also hear the tones from pressing the keys. Then I noticed that this handset had a speaker-phone button also.

After this initial examination, my guess was that whomever owned this damaged handset was still using it to make calls with just the speaker-phone feature, since it was on the half of the handset which still seemed to function well enough. I tested my theory by making a call to a random toll-free telephone number that came to mind, and sure enough, this broken device worked by means of the speaker-phone feature. I still had no way of knowing how I could return this handset to its rightful owner, however.

I put this broken handset away after getting home, and then yesterday, I decided to make a call with it to another phone with a caller ID display, so that I could see what number and name would show up. I wrote down this name and number and then used a web site with listed phone directories to see if there were any likely matches in the vicinity of where I found this handset to the name I had culled from the caller ID. Unfortunately, there were just enough same last names with the same first initial to make this seem to me as being a bit too time-consuming.

Since this handset had the logo of the signal provider emblazoned upon it, as most of them all do, I went to the web site of the provider and found a toll-fee telephone number for customer service.

When I was able to speak with a customer service representative girl, I told her the name and telephone number I had previously discerned, and the whole situation about how I wanted to return this broken handset to its rightful owner.

After being on hold for what seemed to be a lengthy period, this girl came back on the line to tell me that she had located another telephone phone number for the handset's true owner, and that she was able to speak with someone briefly about their lost handset.

The only problem however was that this person spoke only Portuguese and that nobody was available to act as an interpreter. Despite the girl's ability to speak Spanish, she felt that there was still enough of a language barrier for her to adequately convey the entirety of the situation to this Portuguese-speaking person, so as to help me return this handset to him or her. She was also unable to release any of this person's details to me due to the confidentiality policies of the signal provider.

The only thing she could suggest to me was that I should return this handset to an official retail showroom of the signal carrier and let them deal with the rest. Fortunately, there was one not that far from me, so that is just what I did. Nobody at this location spoke Portuguese, but it turned out that the staff there knew of at least one person working at another location who did.

At this point, I felt satisfied that I had finally completed my mission to do what I felt all along was the right thing to do. It certainly took me long enough though, longer than what I would guess other people would even bother. If there is anything such as what some refer to as "karma", then it had better remember me for all that I did on this day just to return somebody's lost property, damn it!

It seems quite apparent to me that the person who owned this lost and broken handset was not a tourist, foreign diplomat, or performer, but rather just an otherwise ordinary resident of these United States of America, yet he or she could not really speak English, or even any Spanish for that matter. This is despite the fact that this person apparently got a residence, some sort of contract-based wireless telephone service, and possibly also a job - hopefully one that is not criminal in nature, that is.

This got me to thinking...who would want to live a life in a country if he or she could not speak the language of the vast majority of its citizens, such as the "official" language, or the de facto official language as the case might be, or at least the language of the country's largest minority? (I'm referring to Spanish, which is the case here in these United States.) Someone I discussed this issue with yesterday suggested to me that whomever owned this broken handset that I found is quite likely the type of immigrant person who lives and works within a rather insular and tight-knit Portuguese-speaking community, and that he or she relies upon on a family member or spouse to provide English translation when needed.

That seems a bit depressing though, doesn't it? I really doubt that a person such as this would be able to get all that much out of life and all the opportunities being offered in these United States with such a language barrier, citizenship and immigration issues aside.

Furthermore, consider the extra effort that I had to expend doing the right thing just because some immigrant who lost their broken wireless telephone handset cannot speak English. If I could, I would want to say the following to this person:

1. "It's nice that you chose to come live here in the United States (I think) and everything, for the sake of diversity and all that, etc., but don't you think your life would be easier if you learned how to speak English? For me and that customer service girl in this situation, it sure would have been."

2. "If you really knew how to speak English, perhaps you would be able to have better chances of getting better and more lucrative jobs. That way, you would not have to go around using a damaged wireless handset, being that you could more likely afford to replace it with a new one, and then in case someone like me finds it after you drop it, I might be able to use it to find some other telephone number of yours stored on it, so that I could then phone you and then we could converse in English so as to make arrangements for me to return your property to you somehow."

Well, there, I said it - I have said what I think many people all around the world have either said or wanted to say to the immigrants of their own respective nations.

"When in Rome, do as the Romans do," is how the old adage goes, but these days, perhaps it ought to be modified a bit.

"When in Rome, speak as the Romans do."

Romeo and Juliet

I recently saw the operatic version of William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", as performed by the New York Metropolitan Opera. The presentation was quite well done. Actually, the entire cast and crew all did very well, but for me, this question remains.

Is it just me, or has this play been overdone a bit much? I feel that there have already been so many adaptations of this Shakespearean tragedy into feature length movies, with some being exemplary, such as director Franco Zeffirelli's version in 1968, and others which were an insult to the original work, such as "Romeo + Juliet", a 1996 hip and modern rendition, which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, and was directed by Baz Luhrmann.

It seems like every time I turn around, yet another woman here on passion has a testimonial on her profile from wellhungtongue69. Each one for the most part reads just about the same as any other, too, which typically is something like this:

wow...I would slowly french kiss and suck this gals clit into a squirting frenzy daily....Vegas adores her

Who is Vegas supposed to be, anyway? This guy supposedly lives in the Netherlands, not Las Vegas!

wellhungtongue69

Anyway, my only problem with all of this is that the very picture on this profile has been circulating around on porn sites since about 1999, well, as best I can remember, that is. I have also seen this very same picture on a few other passion profiles over ther last six or seven years, too. What this all means to me and other web-savvy people out there is that wellhungtongue69 is guilty of profile picture fraud, which just happens to be my top pet peeve when it comes to this web site. It would be a different story if this profile had any other proof to sustain any claim that this picture indeed belongs to the individual who owns this profile, but it simply does not.

I simply refuse to believe that I would be seeing wellhungtongue69's testimonials on so many women's profiles and within so many women's friends networks if he was not passing this particular picture off as his own.

Is it just me, or would it be asking too much to expect that the people whom one allows into one's own network, let alone leave testimonials, would have bona fide pictures of themselves and/or their own body parts on their profiles?

Bait and Switch

Dear Readers of my blog,

Please consider the following scenario.

A bisexual man starts a discussion thread in an interest group here on passion, one that is intended for well endowed straight men and the women who seek them. One such group is Size sluts for.

This bisexual man's thread starts off with him saying that he has a "hot wife" who wants to be seduced by well endowed straight guys, even though his profile is for that of a single man, not a couple, and neither his postings in the group nor his profile have any actual pictures of his "hot wife". His profile instead just has vivid details about how he likes giving great blowjobs to men, and what a tight sphincter that he has for anal sex.

Hmmm....I will have to say by now that I've detected a pattern here among some of the bisexual men here on passion. I call this the "bisexual/gay man - hot wife bait and switch" scam.

It starts off with a bisexual man initiating contact with a well endowed heterosexual man or men. The bisexual man then claims that he has a "hot wife" who wants to suck and fuck some well endowed heterosexual cock. (This would be the "bait".) The bisexual man does not offer up any pictures of his "hot wife", saying that he'll furnish one or two later on. The bisexual man never does this however, all in the hopes that he can maybe eventually convince the well endowed heterosexual man to "experiment" with a bit of gay sex with him. (This would be the "switch".)

Sound familiar? For me, I can certainly say so, only because I have been contacted by at least a dozen different bisexual men here on passion with this very same pitch over the last several years.

Just because a man has a huge dick and/or a muscular body does not mean he is a gullible moron and/or willing to "experiment" with gay sex.

Note to bisexual and gay men: Honesty is always the best policy.

Lame excuses explored and exploded

I can honestly say by now that I will NEVER initiate contact with any profile on here passion that doesn't have at least one pic on it already.

Does this make me shallow? I hope not, but I don't really think so, either.

I have had the "profile pic/no pic" debate with many people on this site time and again, and all of the reasons people give for not having a pic on their profile sound like really lame excuses and or cop-outs to me. Here are some of those excuses I have heard, and my response to each one:

"I was getting too much mail when my profile had a pic on it" - Oh, really? Poor you! Deleting some mail (Such as messages without pics attached, let's say.) from your inbox without reading it first and/or setting up your mail filter preferences must be too much work for you. I guess you somehow get just mail from the people you are potentially seeking now that nobody can get a clue about what you may look like and/or have to offer physically.

"I would rather get mail from those who find what I wrote on my profile interesting, rather than from those who just care about what I look like." - So I guess for you it's either one or the other; a person cannot be attracted both physically and intellectually to somebody. If "Elephant Man" Merrick were alive today and also had a pic-less profile here on passion, he could use this very same rationale. Maybe you'd even want to meet him and/or sex him yourself just from the seductive wording of his profile, too.

"There's no point in having pics on profiles since so many people have fake ones or old ones of themselves on their profiles, so you can't ever really be sure of who is who anyway." - Oh, really? How quickly did it take for you to determine that the vast majority of people on passion actually do this? This is about the most egregious example of a cop-out I've heard yet, but I have heard it more than once. Are you going to say the same thing about video introductions now too?
