This is an Oldie...but it's still funny~
Things that you can say ONLY at Thanksgiving and Christmas
1. Talk about a huge breast!
2. Tying the legs together keeps the inside moist.
3. It's Cool Whip time!
4. If I don't undo my pants, I'll burst!
5. Whew, that's one terrific spread!
6. I'm in the mood for a little dark meat.
7. Are you ready for seconds yet?
8. It's a little dry, do you still want to eat it?
9. Just wait your turn, you'll get some!
10. Don't play with your meat.
11. Just spread the legs open and stuff it in.
12. Do you think you'll be able to handle all these people at once?
13. I didn't expect everyone to come at once!
14. You still have a little bit on your chin.
15. How long will it take after you stick it in?
16. You'll know it's ready when it pops up.
17. Wow, I didn't think I could handle all of that!

An industrious turkey farmer was always experimenting with breeding, his mission was to produce the perfect turkey. His family was fond of the leg portion for dinner and there were never enough legs for everyone.
After many frustrating attempts, the farmer was relating the results of his efforts to his friends at the general store. 'Well I finally did it! I bred a turkey that has six legs!' They all asked the farmer how it tasted.
'I don't know, 'said the farmer, 'I never could catch it!' | ||

So, I went Thanksgiving shopping today.
Just curious how much did you guys spend on a Turkey??
Lowest price here was .39/lb. (I bought THREE
Most places are .59/lb this year. | ||

It'll be a pack of those round pieces of turkey that you make sandwiches with that I'll warm up in the frying pan with some butter, a can of corn, a can a candied sweet potatoes, and a can of cranberry sauce (jellied kind). They also have 5 & 10 dollar cupons to use with purchases of 25 & 50 dollars respectively. I shopped early this morning while the rest of the family slept and made some good scores. Saw a couple of cute guys stocking the shelves too....got to have the candied men on my shopping list! Kay | ||
