A larger perspective
One of the most positive and effective ways to transcend your difficulties is by expanding your perspective. When you look at a bigger picture, just the change in viewpoint alone will suddenly make the problems smaller.
Does it make sense to spend all your energy fighting battles that don't really matter? Those who can see the bigger picture are able to focus on achieving bigger, more positive results.
Is something holding you down? Back away from it. Frame it within a larger perspective and you'll create more room for yourself to get around it. Are you crawling along the rocky ground, agonizing over every pebble? Or are you flying through the air, enjoying the view from 30,000 feet? The difference is one of perspective. Make yours big enough, and you'll move swiftly forward.

On Saturday May 11, 1996 at 2:14 am Sylvia Elaine's spirit left her given vessel and became one with the earth. An angel was born to guide and watch over me.
it has been 10 years since my sister, my best friend died..today i have tears of joy........of remembrance...knowing that i have grown..that i am growing to be a very strong woman i find that i am not so alone.
rest in peace sweet angel....
keep watching over me!!

How do you receive the emotion of fear? How did adults and friends in your life growing up welcome your experience and expression of fear?
Did they placate you with something like, "Don't worry, honey. Everything will be fine (when they were really scared, too)"? Did they shame you
with something like, "Big boys don't cry"?
Did they view your fear curiously? Did they encourage you to feel your fear completely? "I imagine you feel afraid. Tell me more."
Perhaps you didn't even express your fears out loud. You kept your experience of fear inside to yourself. You didn't let on that you felt afraid, even though an undercurrent of fear permeated your life. You have a story that letting yourself show fear is a sign of weakness.
You can't change the past. You can, however, create welcoming phrases for your fear in yourself. You can also create welcoming phrases in the presence of others, such as:
* "I welcome you feeling your fear and expressing it to me."
* "I'm afraid, too."
* "I imagine you feel afraid. Tell me more."
* "Go ahead and feel what you're feeling."
* "You are safe to feel your fear fully here."
fear isnt something to run from!!

There are roughly 22 pages of beautiful work, humble art, and kind words from such a caring and giving soul. for a few months now I have actively watched this awesome spirit warrior grow, share, love, and just give with the utmost of her heart and soul!! It has been more than a pleasure to visit her pages and I always find comfort in her soft spoken nature. DO not mistake this person as weak or dull. She is far from that. today marks the first birthday/anniversary of my blog!!

Today is just one of those days where you cant help but to be happy!! the beautiful sunrise, clear skies, chirping birds...
SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!!
its warm here in Detroit, Mi and it feels good!
today i got a compliment from a little old lady...she said my eyes was glowing with happiness!! that made my heart melt!!
today i gave a compliment.....to a guy who looked like he needed a boost of confidence and clarity that he exist!! that made my heart melt!!
today i feel like a prized possession on display for the world to see!!!

Walking up the newly trimmed walkway to the front porch with a huge grin of satisfaction and appreciation on my face, the wind blew time right away. It was a beautiful day to work in the yard. The playful butterflies danced with the daffodils. The birds sang for miles. Happiness set into my heart and poured into my soul. Sated my shadow stretched across the fresh green lawn, truly happy.
THEN IT HAPPENED!!
A very bitter family member of mine came outside to try to break the happy chain. “what are you smiling about? There aint nothing to be happy about. No one deserves to be happy.” Then she scurried across the grass and to her car. Just as she was moving the clouds came in and the gust became cold…..Happiness didn’t reside insider her.
My question today, WHO DESERVES TO BE HAPPY??
Anyone, somebody, no one??
The person who saves a life?
The person who does a good deed?
The honest shopper?
The friendly neighbor?
Is happiness something that gets distributed? Passed along to the ones that have endured long hardships??

I decided to do a series of if questions to get the mind wondering a bit!! Most of these questions have come from the book entitled If 3 (questions for the game of love). Lets make this fun and think hard now!! Some of these are tough ones….
